Dave Ramsey is mostly bullshit. His history with timeshare-removal scams is highly questionable. He's a cult of personality... And one I don't follow.

Hearing that the show has benefited a lot of local business makes me especially happy. With that said, I'm going back in April for my fifth visit to Voyage. Really looking forward to it.

I'm neither confirming or denying. Just a concern, really.

There were a group of guys who were doing this at SpaWorld in Houston a few weeks back when I was there. While a K-spa is very different from a bath, the similarity is that silence is golden. I ended up telling them to (politely) read the room and shut the fuck up. Thankfully, it worked.

My evolving issue with his arrest is that they're going to eventually release that he was gay. It won't bode well for the community. It never does. The news cycle will eat this for lunch and dinner. All the way around, it's an ugly, sad story.

It's the new normal. With cultural acceptance comes all the odds & ends of the deal. CC's front video bar is always fun, women or not. They play a campy, fun mix of stuff. That said, I do understand how females in a gay bar can really change the environment... But I don't see that changing.

Another perspective. Without an actual guarantee of anything, will this really be worth your time? Are you willing to put up with the immense bullshit that a situation like this entails? If something goes wrong, will this jeopardize your relationship with your existing client? As my grandmother used to tell me, 'don't jump over dollar bills to get at nickels.' And as I like to say... In the '80s and '90s it used to be that way, but Amex has worked hard to get into most places now. Merchants still don't love it, as they charge more in transaction percentage and are incredibly customer-focused. I've had some major chargebacks with Amex in the past and they've never batted an eyelash.

All that story and this was my shocked takeaway.
