  1. DEET may not be considered by some the healthiest option, but it's one of the longest-used and best working. https://www.consumerreports.org/insect-repellent/how-safe-is-deet-insect-repellent-safety/ A 20+ percent formula should do the trick. Even with mosquito control by air and land, we have remaining issues in Key West... And with a little DEET spray, I don't get touched.
  2. I'm more interested in your interest in Keith Haring
  3. I keep reading the title of this thread too-quickly... MIKE DOUGLAS WAS NO FAKE! HE'S A LEGITIMATE NEWSMAN.
  4. Also consider that there's a percentage of men who simply like paying handsome guys. For anything (or nothing) at all.
  5. Typical gym etiquette is that if you're in the weight room, you wear workout clothing and proper shoes. No bare feet. No sandals. If you're hanging in the spa, a towel, bathrobe or less will do. If it's sex-segregated, public nudity is not an issue. In Vegas, you'll come in wearing street clothing and have a locker to store your belongings while you relax.
  6. Playing devil's advocate, could a child of the '60s namecheck Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington or the Gershwins? The ignorance of youth is revisited with each and every generation. History repeats itself
  7. Taxis are easy and the bus will take you to the beaches (It's an easily caught, open-air local bus). To some beaches, you also need to take a water taxi... It's a lot of fun and a beautiful way on and off the sand. Take a look at the Elyseum Hotel. I stayed there once and it was great. Gay owned/operated. Fantastic location.
  8. There's also something to be said for HOW you approach someone. My circumstance was done in a very loud, mishandled way. A smile, a nod or a wink is sexy
  9. Pierros is sadly closed, but there's a slew of new places to dance: Jackie Os, Babylon. If you're in town during August, look to see if you can hit the XLSIOR dance festival. It brings in a huge number of guys from all over the world. Elia and Super Paradise are both gay beaches: Don't be surprised to see some of the most beautiful men you've ever seen, as well as the occasional drag queen giving an impromptu performance on the sand. It's an odd dichotomy, but fascinating. Hotels are a little tougher, as there are a ton of small, family-run hotels (10-15 rooms) that are well located and less expensive than the big guys. I have used Airbnb and HomeAway a ton of times on the island and it's worked great.
  10. Huge fan of edging here
  11. How you handle these situations really separates the schmucks from the smarties. When I first moved to Dallas, I was very directly- and indiscreetly- approached by someone at my gym about 'if I was who I was.' While it didn't embarrass me, I did end up telling the guy that I was not who he thought I was. Guys like that are people I would never see anyway, so I didn't see it as any loss.
  12. Not a huge fan of flowers. Blowjobs, however...
  13. There's garbage and then there's trash. I believe these shows veer directly into trash territory.
  14. Drugs are bad, m'kay. All sorts of 'good' people become hooked. Asking people for an honest answer is difficult, especially if they're addicts. Just keep your eyes open and cut it short if things start going South.
  15. If he's + and on meds, undetectable and taking care of himself, I see no issue with him being a sex worker. The real key is being honest and upfront about it. Allow your clients to make that decision for themselves. Many escorts are positive (whether they know it or not) and are not taking ideal care of themselves: It's really a time bomb in a sense. The only thing you can do is protect yourself by making smart choices, PrEP and/or condoms.
  16. Have you ever read the TOS when submitting a sample for the test? It reads like War and Peace. I'm fine taking educated guesses.
  17. The HPV vaccine is nearly useless if you haven't gotten it by the age of 25. The younger you get it, the better and more effective it is. Aside from cancer, HPV can be a difficult thing in terms of removing the outbreak: Like a weed, it tends to keep coming back and having them burned or frozen off is a really painful, ugly situation. This cyclical outbreak causes a lot more than just physical pain- The depression issues surrounding this can be lifelong. HPV doesn't ever clear from the system, but not everyone develops symptoms. Many are just carriers.
  18. Unsure, but the hair would be YUGE and- yes- there would be spandex
  19. A lot of it has to do with Stephanie Block. Even when she's in a turkey, her voice and passion are always showstoppers. I hope this one is her big chance to bring a successful show to Broadway as the lead.
  20. I understand, but given the history of both sites, it might have been better served by private message. McDonalds isn't in the business of sending people to eat hamburgers at Wendy's
  21. Why are you sending people from this site to another site to answer? Why not just solicit people here?

  23. Alongside Stephen Spinella, this time playing Roy Cohn... A role I'd love to see him tackle. Reviews of this production have been strong.

  25. OOTI's win made me a happy camper. They really deserved it. I hope it keeps them running for awhile longer.
