  1. If this advances your career and there's future hope of another upwards (or at least sideways) move, go for it. Shanghai is beautiful and in predominant ways, a very livable city. The metro is great (although, not as amazing as in Japan). The people are friendly. Yes, you deal with some of the caveats that come with the Chinese government, but that's the way it is. Shanghai is, by far, the most Westernized city in China. Take the promotion. Enjoy the adventure.
  2. This thread is near done
  3. Given what a lot of people in the industry already know about AW, why would anyone let him fuck them raw? I hope the former FA retains counsel. Without a signed agreement, posting that video could cost AW a lot of money in court.
  4. I once got a sip from an opened bottle of 1992 Screaming Eagle. I calculated that as at least a $5k taste. I also helped drink a balthazar of Chateau Margaux. There were 20 there and we each got a few glasses. It was pretty awesome.
  5. Considering you can get kicked out of gay bars in Japan for being a Westerner, I'm not shocked. It is what it is. You just keep moving on. Take your business elsewhere. As for this: '...our own community which is known for universal acceptance, love, pride and freedom of expression.' I disagree (somewhat). The gay community inner-discriminates amongst our own to a fault.
  6. You can be busy and still take a second to send a 'sorry, booked solid' email. We all have smartphones. There's really very little excuse.
  7. I don't joke about attorneys. They have a tough job. And like someone here said already, when you need one, a good one, they're worth their weight in gold.
  8. That's not just a facet of being gay... That's life in-general. Horrible acts are usually what push humans to be better, more successful people. I suggest growing a thick skin in getting through this world: Spending all your time giving a shit about what- most likely- a stranger thinks is a waste of time. Overcoming these things requires laughing it off, putting on the blinders and continuing to move forward. People who openly discriminate say more about themselves than the people they're trying to hurt.
  9. I learned to love karaoke in Asia, where they have private pods and bar service Karaoke can be a lot of fun with the right group
  10. If it wasn't for the Pirin tablets, I couldn't go on...
  11. Well, I never... You mean, in an industry that gives out steroids and erection-helping drugs like Pez, there might be other, more substantial substances on set? I'm SHOCKED I tell you. JUST SHOCKED.
  12. Sturm und drang notwithstanding, if the facility isn't going to police that kind of behavior, wouldn't you eventually just stop going? I'm willing to fight the good fight if it's worth my time. K spas and their patrons are definitely not in that category.
  13. We've got this thread going in The Lounge already... https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/unrecognizable.143013/
  14. No. Akin to the advertising for Island House in Key West.
  15. Meth is no joke
  16. Appalled... I can deal with that. Enjoy

  18. Far too many people today lack couth Airplanes, theaters, any confined space... If they're not comfortable, no one else should be either.
  19. A K spa should be an awesome, relaxing, cultural experience: Your experience makes me angry and sad. I'm sorry that gay LA is proving itself to be gay LA, yet again. The two K spas we have in Dallas have had issues with cruising in the past, but they took a hard line on stopping it (and calling the PD on those who were caught). Public embarrassment and a police record tend to keep that kind of behavior better left at Club Dallas. It doesn't take many complaints to a city about a legit spa turning into a gay bathhouse for them to start sniffing around.
  20. The airlines have let this bullshit go on for far too long. If they are unwilling to regulate 'emotional support' animals, then let the government figure it out. These are not trained service animals. They cause problems in small, metal, flying tubes.
  21. Without 'Jim Dial' as a counterpoint on the show, I feel like it flounders. It's an echo chamber of sorts. Every character needs their foil, otherwise things get boring very quickly.
  22. Reading through so far, this thread says more about the person responding than the original topic. Very interesting. There is room for 'regular' and 'model' types in this business... And both are perfectly capable of being great escorts
  23. Disgust is a little dramatic. A good escort knows how to extract information from email without having to resort to making people feel like shit about themselves. That's being a pro.
