I'm so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I always enjoyed chatting with him during the Palm Springs weekends. He was always nice to Wayne and me, which we both appreciated. He will truly be missed. It won't be the same in Palm Springs without him next year, but we will definitely raise a glass in his honor. Rob -

My dad asked me to be his best man when he married my stepmom, a few weeks before my 18th birthday. I don't remember if he had a bachelor party, but if he did, someone else took care of those arrangements, fortunately. Rob

We did karaoke last night at Streetbar in Palm Springs, with a couple of friends of ours visiting from Canada. Not to brag, but I got quite an enthusiastic round of applause after I sang Michael Bublé's "Home". It felt great! Rob

I love doing karaoke. It took me years to finally get up the courage to actually sing in front of other people, but now I'm totally hooked. This isn't me, but it's too funny not to share.

Canyon Club is generally busier on the weekends, and from what I hear, also on Wednesdays, when they have discounted day passes. Blackbook is a great bar/restaurant on Arenas; they recently celebrated their one-year anniversary there. I recommend their street tacos! Rob
