I had a great massage with Tony @ Prime. He used to work in Manhattan but likes it better at Prime. He gives you a very relaxing sensual massage from head to toe. No area goes unnoticed. He’s a husky Asian Masseur, hairy body, & very friendly. He certainly didn’t look “disappointed” with his tip. As others have mentioned, Prime is a small but very clean spa and well managed. You’ll leave with not only a smile on your face but a bottle of water & a hard candy.

@Heywood01, Was this your 1st massage @Prime? Or had you been there previously? Unlike going to a restaurant there is no scale for how much to tip a Masseur. A few years back a member posted that the Masseurs get only a small percentage of the cost of the massage and that they rely on tips for their income. I can understand why you got that reaction from Tony and the fact you’re posting about it makes me feel you’re not sure how much to tip. I’ve been going to Prime since it opened last year. My tips are good as I know I’ll be returning and enjoy those sensual massages. I can tell you that a tip of $20 is too little even for a 1 hour sensual massage. I can’t tell you how much to tip but consider going as high as $70 for 90 min. I’m sure some members go even higher.

Prime Men Spa in Mineola has reopened. Went today and had a massage by Adam. I’ve had several quality massages with him. The Spa is very clean & a new room was added. You are required to wear a mask & so does the Masseur.

@Lucky. I agree, The Politician was good entertainment and covers several current political issues. One of the many things I liked about this production is the diversity of the cast. The cast included many LGBTQIA members. That’s something that needs to be celebrated.

Finished Season 2. The 7 episodes went fast. I agree that the addition of Bette Midler made a big difference but I also enjoyed the roles played by Judith Light & her secretary. If there is a Season 3, the show might be moving from NY to DC. Does anyone want to play “rock, scissors, paper”?

@Lucky @g56whiz. Yes certainly good times @ The 20 Club. It opened in Jan 2006. Found the original thread. Nice trip down memory lane. Glad most of the “Posse” is still in touch. NYC really needs a comfortable club like this. I became a fan of Ben Platt’s when I saw his Tony winning performance in Dear Evan Hansen. Since then I’ve been following his career. When I heard his 2019 concert at Radio City was being aired on Netflix, I couldn’t wait to see it. His album got a lot of attention as some were calling it his coming out album. He wrote the lyrics to all his songs. They tell of struggles & happiness he’s had in his life. The concert is good. I’ll leave it up to the fashion critics to describe his odd attire. He did look a bit awkward dancing and there were no special effects which we think of when attending a concert. Ben told his story of how he came out to his parents. He was 12 at the time. It was funny & his parents were most accepting. They & his siblings are often shown at the concert. I don’t know if any of his songs made the charts as I don’t hear them being played on the radio. He does have a Pandora station where you can listen to his music. He puts his heart & soul into his singing, the same way he did playing Evan Hansen. If you’re a fan of his you’ll enjoy his concert.
