I always give at least a 24 hour notice and send $100 deposit. Any reputable provider will honor the commitment or reimburse you if he cannot accommodate.

I hate phone calls in general.  They are incredibly disruptive unless planned/scheduled in advance. In fact, one of the reasons that I don’t even text providers (I instead communicate via RM messenger) is that I don’t want them calling me!

Even people I do know go to voicemail. 

Maybe they are in an appointment? 

They may be actually busy, but most I think prefer text over actual calls. Have you tried texting your inquiries?

Anywhere in their ad saying they love parties, have party favors aka pnp. Poor texting grammar and one worded replies. Takes hours or day’s between text messages. Over exaggerated positive reviews “amazing” “incredible” “life changing” blah blah blah.  Multiple reviews within 24 hours. New on site but asking way above market rates.
 
 

Red flags:

Profiles with just a few pictures and just a few words in the descriptions.
Providers asking for a deposit upfront.
Profiles with pictures that I recognize from five or 10 years ago.
Pro-active complaints about clients.
Super vague descriptions.
Name changers (I don't mind one name change, but when it becomes a habit). 
 

I agree the rates with the guys I’m working with and simply quote the client the total rate. Almost every time the split is equal between us but occasionally a guy has a higher rate. That’s fine, everyone needs to be comfortable doing the job for a rate they’re happy with. 

I usually charge my rate x2, x3, etc. I work this agreement out ahead of time with the providers I am coordinating to join for 4-hand and for group play sessions. Charging a consistent rate makes it easier for everyone and there are no negative feelings about getting paid less than someone else to do the same job.
Some clients prefer to pay each provider directly rather than the usual format of paying me and I distribute. Paying each guy directly works nicely for when the guys are charging different rates. Nobody has to know who is getting paid what. The guys may still ask (and tell) one another, but not always. Labeled envelopes are good for distributing cash to each provider quickly and discreetly. Digital payments are more of a hassle in this regard.
One of the guys I work with charges a $50/hr premium to participate in groups or to see a client couple. His regular rate is the same as mine and the other guys joining, but he was unwilling to do the job without the premium. Kind of a prima donna attitude, but it happens sometimes. I didn’t make a big deal of this with the other providers. I knew because I was coordinating the session, but nobody else did, and it was smooth sailing.
It doesn’t bother me whatsoever that someone is charging less or more than me. Everyone is getting paid their respective rates. As long as the client is happy with what he is paying and each provider is happy with what he is receiving, all is well. Others may have more of a grumbling spirit over rate differences, but not me. As long as the client pays me my rate, I’m good.

This is a great point. I tell providers that I need them to be on time- I’m not made of time or money so when I get a chance to get out, get the room sorted, get myself all cleaned up and do all the preparation only to have the provider either not show up at all or message me that they’re running really late and to wait or  keep coming up with excuses for the delay or worse yet just ghost me altogether.
it’s happened multiple times and there was one time that I didn’t even end up getting any action at all even though I had a great room for the whole night. So disappointing.
If a provider can host I am honestly more likely to follow through and also pay more since I don’t have to pay for a room.

It isn't a professional relationship. It's a professional service. If you seek them out I believe you should do it on their terms or they'll tell you no and you don't get to meet them. If you really want to meet some dreamy guy and he asks for 100 bucks to hold a spot for someone he's never met before, i think thats very fair. If you booked a clown for a birthday party, he would require a deposit. Shouldn't they get the same respect as a clown? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. This is mine.
