Funny, I was thinking the same thing - I'm a fan too and I'm sad every time I see these shaven armpits. I know it's common in some cultures, Eastern European in particular. I enjoyed Gordon Merrick's novels; I read a fair amount of "An Idol For Others" in the department store's small book section, while my mother and sisters shopped for clothes. I think "The Great Urge Downward" was the one I liked most.

I've dined alone (unless you count bringing my dog) many many times. I bring a book along and have a relaxing time. I've never had a server ask why I'm dining alone. I used to have a Friday ritual of a few hours alone after work with a book at my local bar; I wasn't the only one who did that. Since getting my dog, a dog-friendly patio was a strong factor in where I eat. There's a local place that's so dog-friendly they have dispensers of poop bags on their patio.

The James Bond movie themes are always an interesting look into who was big in music at the time the movie was released.

Haha, I checked my local library network and didn't find it either. Some interesting books about hooking rugs came up. And to bring this thread back on track again; I don't know if it's "traditionally unattractive", but I do love very hairy legs. I'm a big fan of hairy chests, but legs in addition really get me going. An aerobics instructor had some of the furriest legs I've ever seen, as well as one guy I hired early on in my hiring career; he mentioned having to shave his legs for a knee surgery and I asked him how much weight he'd lost in that operation :-) I only saw him the one time, despite calling the agency repeatedly to see if I could set up another appointment; he must've decided it wasn't for him.

I think that may've been the guy with the big nose! He was with a group of other guys in his room, and when she arrived (quoting from memory), "all the guys were in towels except XXX was walking around naked, proving my theory about big noses". Or maybe it was the guy she slept with while on vacation with her husband, and her husband was walking around the hotel yelling for her?

Me too. She did have one description of a guy who asked her for a guy to discreetly fool around with, oddly enough it wasn't all that stimulating.

I'm single, but my dog has slept in my bed (now officially, "our bed") since her third day here. I find it comforting to have her there. Every once in a while she'll get up & move into the guest bedroom, it always makes me wonder what I've done wrong.

I second that. I've been infatuated with him since he first showed up on Chaosmen (as "Solomon"). He did have a Rentmen ad up briefly, four or five years ago maybe? He was never in Michigan so I didn't hire and the ad wasn't up for very long.

I just put "Anna Karenina" on my Amazon Prime list (mostly because I love watching Aaron Taylor-Johnson) - skimming through it, it seemed to have a Baz Luhrmann vibe going on. I saw in the credits that Tom Stoppard (who wrote "Shakespeare In Love") wrote it, I look forward to watching it.
