I think it's ones FROM you. I checked your profile, noted the numbers, then "liked" this post. The number didn't change. Either that, or there's a lag in the count.

I prefer evenings. I'm generally so relaxed afterwards that I'm not good for much else for a while. I schedule my dentist appointments late in the day too, not because I'm relaxed after, but I've been surprised before by having to do more dental work than I expected, and if that happens I'd rather just go home & wallow in pity rather than go back to work.

I agree with everybody here. As a client, I rarely discuss anything explicit right at the start; it's both tasteless and I'd expect it'd put the masseur on guard. But being told HOW to communicate with a potential hire always puts me off.

I felt the same way. I haven't found a good alternative to "own" that doesn't sound odd. I didn't get a dog because I lived alone. Then I got a roommate who looked long-term, and we took in his family's rescue. Six months later, the roommate left, and by that time I'd bonded so seriously with her that there was no question of letting her go. Nearly six years later I can't imagine life without her. It's very different than my life before she came in but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was 40-something the first time I ever saw an ad for a neti pot, I thought it was a joke. I printed it out & put it on my cube wall. These days, I use it frequently.

Reminds me of a guy I see at the dog park; before I learned his name (I know most of the dog names but maybe four owner's names), I (mentally) called him VPL. I'm eagerly awaiting summer's return.

Whole milk growing up, but my mother starting mixing powdered milk with whole milk at some point in my early teens; we found out when she'd done it just before dinner and it was still foamy. My cousins drank powdered milk that they left out of the fridge; Mom kept putting it back in the fridge while we were visiting. I drank various fat percents and skim for a while but have gone back to whole milk.

That I'm a good listener. I am, actually, but more and more find myself wishing "When do *I* get to say something?"

I bought a robot vacuum last summer, I'm not thrilled with it. I have a couple chairs that it keeps getting hung up on, and it doesn't seem to get it; I'll move it away from where it's jammed and it'll dive right back to that chair. I can start it from my phone, a feature I thought was a gimmick but realized it's pretty cool; I can take off to the dog park and start it from the car, letting it run while I (and the dog, who hates it) aren't there. But many times it alerts me it's hung up within three minutes of starting; while I'm gone & can't do a thing about it.

On the same topic, somewhat...I brought home a dancer from the club, this was when a friend/escort was briefly staying with me. The friend was sleeping in my bed when I got home (I'm not sure why he didn't come to the club with me that night); the dancer was also a bit unsettled by the threesome. That reminds me of a time, back in the days of the phone hookup lines (so not a hire), mid-90's maybe? I'd gone over to a guys place, we were in the midst of fun, and there's a knock on his door. It turns out it's another guy (hotter than both of us ? ) he'd been talking to before me, but the host must have figured the guy ghosted on him (this was before that term was invented ).
