one of my best English teachers left a recommended reading list at the end of the term. "The Importance of Being Earnest" was on it. Years later I found an audio version of it and bought it, it's one of my favorites.

a decade ago when I met with Devon Hunter I made a point of getting a room with a large hot tub. I messed up and made it so hot we only spent about 5 minutes in it.

I did a role play with a couple doing massage, a nervous jock getting a massage from two coaches. it was fun.

Something I'm seeing more often lately, providers who mention they're into findom (financial domination) in their ad. I do have a mild kink where I enjoy being dominated, but it doesn't extend to my wallet. I guess I just get a sense that they'd be bringing it up all through the session.

Two experiences both from the restaurant I worked at in my teens... the dishwasher was helping stir salad dressing in the kitchen, using his whole arm in the huge bin of dressing. I don't remember what kind of dressing it was. A waiter was preparing a tableside Caesar salad and working so hard to impress the two young ladies he was making it for, he dripped sweat into the salad. They barely touched it.

I remember running into one of the dancers from the go-go boy bar in the locker room of the gym. He said something like "My worlds are colliding" 😄

The only thing I would have done differently is give a quick smile and a nod of recognition, rather that just looking away. But I agree his reaction was overdone.

I use it all the time. I'm one of the first to get annoyed when friends are on their phones in a social situation. A couple of friends I go camping with every summer have turned into real phone addicts - phone calls with other people while they're sitting around the campfire, etc. That said, I wouldn't find what you did odd, it's part of the table's conversation.
