Chiming in to agree with most of the responses. I do tend to keep track of the time myself by the clock on my dresser, but in general we've agreed on the duration when I make the appointment and I consider it mostly the escort's responsibility to watch that. I have never explicitly asked for anything during pre-negotiations. I let the dance progress with what the dancer's comfortable with.
