  1. he's quite furry now, not sure if that changes your opinion.
  2. Is the trend of people who know nothing about a topic speaking at length about it new, or am I just noticing it more these days? If anything defines my work life these days, that's it.
  3. Huh. Mom had just turned 27 when she had me. I'm the only boy. Although I have a feeling that she had several miscarriages, maybe there was a boy miscarried before I was born?
  4. There's a co-worker who's consistently breaking the unwritten "don't cook fish in the office kitchen microwave" rule :-)
  5. One gay sister, two straight sisters. No idea on my cousins, I haven't seen much of them since my mid-teens. Three nephews and two nieces (one adopted), all straight so far.
  6. I wonder to this day if my Dad blames my Mom. I had two sisters, Mom was a Girl Scout troop leader, and would take me to the meetings. I still remember them calling the meetings to order..."Girls! Girls! and one boy." My very-traditional grandfather was very big on carrying on the family name, and since I was the only son of his only son (and I'm pretty sure the grandfather was an only son too), he was always questioning me about my "love life" whenever he visited. Never asked about my sisters, which bugged them. He died shortly after I came out to my parents; another thing I wonder about is if Dad told him, and it killed him.
  7. My paternal grandmother was a pretty vicious person. Always making subtle digs at my mother, and some of the stories my father told about growing up were pretty scary. She stayed with us for a week or so when I was 10 or 11, while my mother was in the hospital, and we experienced some of it first-hand. Big stuff and little - hitting my two-year-old sister with a shoe because she answered the phone. Watching Psycho with her on TV, and in the shower scene, she says "you know that's really that Norman guy, not his mother". When she died, my aunt told my father "She finally can't hurt anyone anymore".
  8. way back when, Silas from Africa :-)
  9. The army doesn't allow tattoos? Was this recent? The only tattoo my had has, he got in the service, I think.
  10. An escort couple, now retired (why do my favorites always retire? Is it me?) indulged me in a manhandling fantasy. They'd just had a new shower installed, big enough for several people, and we played out gym shower. One grabbed me from behind and bear-hugged me, while the other soaped me up while I struggled. He moved down & started blowing me while the other guy rubbed his cock against my ass. The pulled me over to the bed, tied me down, and tag-teamed me.
  11. Similar to a friend of mine who got a job as a trainer at a big-chain gym. He was an excellent trainer, but horrible at the process of selling and drumming up new clients. He didn't last long.
  12. I'm a die-hard fan and haven't missed an episode since season 1. This season is a bit light on guys my type. I'm waffling between Dean, Jack, and Tommy. Ronnie and Aaron match my type, but they were both such unsufferable jackasses from the start I'm off them. Jack's got a beautiful trail, I'm waiting for the point where the guys get thinner and their pants are slipping down. Is anyone else getting a gay vibe from Tommy?
  13. No interest in seeing this guy, I'm just clicking on this thread because the comments are making me laugh.
  14. Nothing recent to offer, I saw him just about 4 years ago in NYC. Good massage, nice guy, playful, did not go over into full escort experience but I enjoyed it.
  15. The Burgess sisters arrived together. Tara and Lainie do a little bit of everything. Sometimes dancers, sometimes actresses. Once they were librarians, but that is a subject they will only discuss if heavily intoxicated. ― Erin Morgenstern, The Night Circus
  16. I'm normally very, very good at movie quotes but had to google this one. Is it...
  17. is it the place discussed in this thread? https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/the-club-dallas.152528/
  18. I wondered that myself. His ad states "light leather".
  19. I just bought a new tent. I decided on the one that had an attached closet, so I could keep coming out of it. To whom, by now, I'm not sure...
  20. At a new job a co-worker came by to ask me about something. When he got close enough I was stunned at his BO - I gave him a quick brush-off answer and said I'd email him a more complete answer when I had time. Right about the same time a new business reporter had started at the Detroit Free Press, and one of her columns on work life issues involved colleagues with body odor; it was not a 'protected category' :-)
  21. @manmed there is indeed a lot written about Derek already on the forum. Search his name when you have a few hours to spare.
  22. Some Star Trek book I read referred to the Prime Directive that way.
  23. Just about anything from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - originally a radio serial, then a book/BBC-TV series, then a record, then a stage play, then a video game, then a movie... I have two of them framed, the one about Zaphod & stupidity (because it reminded me of a co-worker), the other about "The Universe (and some information to help you live in it)", most of it is footnotes. Doing the footnotes justice is beyond my editing skills, but here's a page with that quote. http://www.angelfire.com/ca3/tomsnyder/hg-2-19.html
  24. I'm assuming you're white - did you explicitly tell him you were white? This strikes me as "white is the norm, anything else should be disclosed" viewpoint.
  25. In Detroit tomorrow. his ad says he's hairy, apart from the fuzzy butt picture that doesn't seem to be the case - and also says 5.5 inches uncut. @mlee789 any report as to either of those characteristics?
