  1. I remember this has been discussed a few times in the forum, in the thread Marylander references and maybe a few others. I ran into a dancer from the club, I guy I'd taken home a few times, at the gym. Once with his kids :-) He said something like "Oh no, my worlds are colliding" :-) I ran into another guy I'd hired, at a mutual friend's pumpkin-carving party; he was with his boyfriend and based on his body language, I acted as if we were meeting for the first time. I'll generally make eye contact and smile, and let the escort take it from there.
  2. I've got a "no soliciting" sign on my front door, it's cut down a lot (I work from home often) but there are still persistent people.
  3. Wow, last night was one of the most fun episodes I can remember in many a season. From the opening shot of nearly-naked Dean, it did not disappoint.
  4. Watchmen is a classic graphic novel. The movie didn't do it justice but to be fair, I don't see how it could within the two or three hours movies usually take; lots of interwoven stories, jumping between different eras, etc. The series is a sequel after the events of the movie/graphic novel, to the best of my knowledge it's not based on any previously published material. It's interesting that Alan Moore, co-author of the original, is not credited at all in the series; the other co-author, Dave Gibbons, is part of the team putting on the series. I suspect Moore refused to have his name associated with it, he'd said the graphic novel was 'unfilmable'.
  5. Thanks @DaveOrDavid !
  6. I've never had anything that bad. If things aren't moving fast enough I'll move next to him on the couch and do the 'place your hand on his leg' or something like that as previous posters have recommended.
  7. that's adam russo but does anyone recognize the 'nerdy boy'?
  8. Wow, I hired him, must have been 20 years ago. Doubt that 34 years old is accurate.
  9. very subtle, @TruthBTold :-P
  10. Donte Thick. One of my new favorites.
  11. That's good to hear. I need to remember to mention I'm interested in erotic massage when contacting providers, I've been unpleasantly surprised more than once when I find out that's extra at the point of meeting.
  12. I'm not sure how to explain it further. Financial domination seems at odds with a "vibrant spirit".
  13. https://rent.men/SpiritAdventures I'm interested, but the text of his ad I practice sobriety, yoga, and a local farm to table vegetarian lifestyle. Very committed to keeping my mind, body, and spirit as vibrant as possible is at odds with the #Findom, #Cashpig, #FinancialDom tags.
  14. Election night, 2012 maybe? Diane Sawyer sounded very drunk (maybe she was just very, very, tired). Some comic a few days later pointed it out: "The early polls are in, and the winner is...Chardonnay!"
  15. I'm very rarely caught without a book. There are usually a couple somewhere in my car. I'm supporting my local library with overdue fines, and I don't mind at all.
  16. Google Image Search occasionally comes up with a search term that makes me laugh... "Possible related search: low hangers"
  17. it's not his most famous work (I'd guess "Ender's Game" has to be considered that) but this book hit a lot of my buttons - time travel, historical fiction, the theme of redemption. It's about researchers in the future meddling with the circumstances of Columbus's first trip to America. Card's shown himself to be quite the homophobe, and a remark he made about making Ender's Game into a movie, and the problem of finding enough talented child actors might be over because of Jake Lloyd's performance in "The Phantom Menace" (really?) has always puzzled me (especially since "The Sixth Sense" with Haley Joel Osment came out the same year).
  18. I have a hard time watching Rachel McAdams and Diane Keaton after they were so mean to Sarah Jessica Parker in "The Family Stone". On a similar note, I know people who have different reactions to Jewel Staite depending on whether they saw her first in "Wonderfalls", or "Firefly". I guess her character (the ex of the lead's romantic interest) was a real bitch in Wonderfalls, but how could anyone dislike Kaylee Frye?
  19. I masseur I used to see had a jar of Elbow Grease lube on the table in the massage room. We never went beyond a happy ending but I wondered about other clients.
  20. I watched the movie "The Opposite of Sex" solely based on reading the "Quotes" section on imdb.com. Still one of my favorite movies. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120777/quotes
  21. To cross over into the Memorable Quotes thread, from "Serenity"..."Hell, I'm a fan of all seven. But right now, I'm gonna have to go with Wrath".
  22. An old friend & I went to see the movie "Milk", talking about it afterwards she said she'd had no idea gays faced such discrimination.
  23. Yup, I've seen that fairly frequently when doing a phone number search. Draw your own conclusions.
  24. There was a place like that in Vancouver, about 15 years ago. I think it was called the Blue Lagoon.
  25. Mine too, actually :-)
