  1. I do agree with @Guy Fawkes now that this threat should not have been brought back. Sad.
  2. I remember Lucille Ball discussing her Broadway musical, "Wildcat," after it opened, with Jack Paar on The Tonight Show around Christmas 1960. She was with Vivien Vance, who was not involved with the musical. I am not saying Lucy was a good singer. Smile

  10. Mike, I have fliown to Australia and back three times always in our winter. So there was an excellent reason to visit Australia. I have no particular reason to fly to PV. The New Jersey shore is much closer, and there are pleasant routes away from major highways.
  11. There are good opinions on the East Coast, and much closer. Why would someone book a flight on a holiday weekend, if they had other decent choices?
  12. I saw the musical during the tryout in Boston. To be honest, I do not remember seeing either of Leigh's two greatest film until I was older.
  13. Take the ferry from Boston to Provincetown, and rent a car there. You do want to drive from Logan to Provincetown (and back) on an important holiday.
  14. Yet you spend time with Czech friends.
  15. The property is not far from the Guggenheim Museum. Of course, it is expensive
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHwENst4Mxo:9 She received the applause for "Gone with The Wind" and "A Streetcar Named Desire."
  17. He is not writing about gay men, @marylander1940. Rather his focus is on clueless straight men. And his comments apparently ignore all forms of modern communication.
  18. Anna and Jonas Kaufman are well known to people who listen and/or attend operas. They seldom cancel, unlike some the bold faced names of 20 to 50 years ago.
  19. In other words, you are turned on by extremely unsophisticated men.
  20. Miss Sanders was a friend of Richard Rodgers. She was in Annie Get Your Gun, The Sound of Music and Jennie. Nice to have friends.
  21. I saw the Lincoln Center production twice. Once with Bernice Sanders from the original cast of the musical. Just an accident, I was expecting critical comments. but she loved the revival. Me too.
  22. My concern: in the next production of South Pacific, Cable may be singing I am going to wash the man right out of my hair.
  23. Very nice low key photo, truly wonderful.
