And I finally watched "The Wizard of Oz" on cable and enjoyed it a lot
Jackie Gleason in the 1960 musical "Take Me Along" based on Ah! Wilderness. Walter Pigeon was the star, but Gleason stopped the show with his singing and comic abilities. He won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a musical. The CD is available
I did see a revival of the "The Little Fox," at Lincoln Center, but a bit disappointed.
