It depends. Some places are so interesting (like Brasilia) one can just "dive" right in and enjoy. And most flights from Brasilia to the United States fly over the Amazon River.

Agree. I saw "The March of the Falsettos" in New York City in the early 80s before listening to the album. Perhaps the actor who plays Whizzor has to be believable as an attractive and somewhat interesting figure.

I am not a fan of the film even though Thomas Mann is one of my favorite authors. Mann won the Nobel Prize in Literature for "Buddenbrooks"and his short stories. I prefer "The Magic Mountain," but the Nobel Comittee had a problem with the novel. I do like Benjamin Britton opera of "Death of Venice." Perhaps the live performance of an opera made the difference. There's no doubt that I must watch the film after reading your post.

I saw the Australian "The Boy From Oz' in Sydney. Much better than the Broadway version which I felt like leaving at intermission

John Davenport and Mike Henson as a team because they were in several videos together, or Joey Stefano and Mike Henson because they actually liked each other a lot
