  1. In your opinion. Perhaps you should apply to monitor this site. Go into monitor training as it were
  2. @J.Applegate When did you because a hall monitor here? Members frequently refer to members prior comments.
  3. Read my comment again. I was referring to Ethel Merman needing voice lessons. By the way, I saw Ethel in "Gypsy" twice, encores would have been at odds with Jerry's direction. (Jerry Robbins).
  4. You also believe Ethel Merman should have taken singing lessons. Gershwin and Berlin and Porter disagree with you
  5. "My staff". Were you a high school principal?
  6. The sports desk sells you short as well LOL
  7. @Moondance Started a similar thread. He was quite concerned with realistic photos of men who actually served in the military. The Gallary owes a lot to Moondance
  8. I sympathize a little A Black woman I knew casually for several years needed someone immediately. She saw my resume in a pile of resumes and hired me without a job interview. She was an excellent supervisor, and very smart. But she was also politically connected to the previous Administration here in Philadelphia. Unknowned for a while, she also worked as a political consultant to non pro-profifs seeking funds for the city of Philadelphia. She thought she was untouchable. She was fired and rightly so. I appreciated her hiring me for a job I liked so much. But her arrogent manner was annoying because I had no political connection and never wanted one.
  9. This should be in the sports forum. It took us years to get a sports forum so we should actually use it
  10. Barbra barely knew Judy Garland. Yes, she was a guest on Garland's 1963-64 television show. And apparently Garland told her "don't end up like me." Where was Barbra when Garland was broke, yet still performing at the Palace and Madison Square Garden in 1967. Her concert earnings when to the IRS
  11. Flame thrower in the 1970s, especially in the All Star games. American league batters hated to face him. Sadly he suffered a stroke in practice with the Astro team. Richard tried for a comeback in the minor league. For a time he was homeless in Houston. Where he was often recognized. He became more religious, and even became a mister. Nice man and extraordinary major league pitcher.
  12. @Merboy Live may be a bit better if you try concentrating on the things you like fabout your self with a good therapist.
  13. Nadal lost in a tournament that has seldom lived up to expectations Hardly a good sign
  14. Nadal out of Washington tournament in three sets
  15. Did who did not watch initially really think it would be more tight and focused?
  16. Yes, many people have said the same thing. Hey, it's just a TV show, not "how to eat ass."
  17. Lukas Gage's character confrontation with the hotel manager (Murray Bartlett) should be interesting.
  18. Much in the news because young Dillon's bare ass was eaten by Murray's character. Young Dillon will probably ask for a promotion as a male model and assistance manager
