Getting physically shorter,
At the end of high school, the doctor’s office measured me at 5’11”.
Through most of my adult years I was 5’10”.
Now, I am afraid to measure myself but I think I am 5’9”.

Linda Lavind's character dies. Lupone comes out for the funeral as her estranged sister looking for an inheritance. When there is none she refuses to leave the guest room. Just as sassy and just as stereotypically Jewish but an aunt rather than a mother. Down the road it can come out that LuPone is actually his mother as she got pregnant at a young age and her sister took in the child and they agreed that she was his "mother". For a bit of a twist, LuPone is divorced and now living as a lesbian.
