  1. So gracious of you!
  2. So you agree on the existence of real victims who may find offensive this line of questioning in certain circumstances. And you agree that this is a legitimate concern and not another "Cult of Victimhood" construction. And you agree that we must be tactful when asking this question, considering the circumstances. Hopefully, you do not think that only Black American descendants of slaves deserve a gracious and exceptional pass. Hopefully, you think that even when, in your personal experience, only this group was "touchy" about it, there may be other groups that, in certain circumstances, could also be offended by this kind of questioning. If that is the case, we have never agreed more.
  3. I quote you to preserve your eloquence from possible future editions. Booo, touchy people.
  4. The issue is expanding our understanding of others' circumstances. If you live in the USA, White Supremacy and structural racism are a universal experience. If you feel like you are not experiencing it, perhaps you are on the "lucky" side of the equation. It is true some are going too far and are overreacting to potential and even imaginary nuances. We have work to do there. Often, the critics of "victimhood" are blind to recognizing when victims exist.
  5. Similarly, micro-aggressions can be easily disguised as genuine curiosity. It is all about the circumstances.
  6. Perhaps. "usually" moderates my statement.
  7. @Unicorn, I hope to catch you before your first drink in your breakfast. I am implying that another right-winger fell victim to his hypocrisy.
  8. It is about finding the right balance. It is good to be more aware and empathic of others' problems and concerns. We cannot pledge ignorance or lack of intent nowadays if we say insensitive things. But as you say, some do not cease to expand the field of their sensitivity.
  9. I think you are underestimating the hard work of maintaining a high-quality OF.
  10. You are having too many drinks. I am implying something that may violate the rules and that is not good for the moral integrity of some right-leaning actors.
  11. As with everything else, it depends on the context. Usually, no one asks a White person for their ethnicity. Depending on the context, it may be constructed as discriminatory. I wonder if @Unicorn misunderstood what the lecturer was saying. Indeed, it is a question that requires tact, but as other posters shared, I have asked it countless times in friendly conversation with no issues.
  12. OF gets "only" 40% of the fee. 60% is for the creator, whether or not he publishes anything.
  13. Adios Gay Porn Studios - ILikePinga -welcome independent porn ILIKEPINGA.COM Adios Gay Porn Studios! Although they will continue to exist, the pandemic has taught us how little we do... INDEPENDENT PORN BOOM - ILikePinga -a 2020 tailored 4 masturbation ILIKEPINGA.COM INDEPENDENT PORN BOOM. This year, independent artists’ talent took over the pornosphera. Welcome to...
  14. This seems like a sentence written two years ago. I sympathize with your feeling about the studios not knowing what good porn is, but they are not libraries anymore and are fully back into the business.
  15. Your whole business cracks. That is why independent porn creators take the different sites' rules very seriously. Take a look at these summarizing tables: https://twitter.com/sophie_ladder/status/1545433694911229952 If you are into niche porn, you should have a very close look at it.
  16. Please, let me know, and I may join you.
  17. This thread should be an hommage to our gone friend @AdamSmith.
  18. Sorry for my bad English. I meant to say "gay ghettos." There is not much to elaborate on. Even when globalization leaves a mark, sexuality in South America is more fluid than in the US.
  19. Travel to South America, bringing your US understanding of sexual identities and looking for the same (dying even in the US) ghetto gays. You will be disappointed and disoriented.
  20. So it looks like some posters are misreading information to develop interpretations that fit their bias.
  21. I am confused by the cóctel of anecdotal and actual statistical information in this thread. If anyone wants to share what their family members did or any personal experience, great! Thanks for sharing. But all that experience is useless for making broader generalizations. About what seems to be actual statistics, a couple of questions: @Lucky, what is your source for the 75/25% breakdown of hetero/homo molesters? Even if we have a source, I do not see the information by gender, and in this thread, everyone seems to be talking about male abusers. @pubic_assistance, I do not understand why your last post says that 25% of boys and girls report abuse, and then you jump to talk about homosexual abusers. Knowing that 25% of boys and girls are abused does not tell us anything about the sexual preference and gender of their abusers. I apologize if I am missing anything; I am arriving at this conversation now, and how everyone compares oranges to apples is very confusing.
  22. I am not so sure. If a provider has narrow chemistry boundaries, asking for a prospective client's picture may be the professional option. Taking a contract you cannot fulfill would be unprofessional. Trashing the man is uncalled. We may not like it, and this may be bad business practice, as pointed out above, but there is nothing unethical about it. Just move to the next.
