  1. I met him yesterday. He is staying in DC util Monday. I am about to submit a review here now that the site is back up. You can see the review in my blog here.
  2. I edited all the posts with a brief description of the treats. Let me know if you want to know more. And I was forgetting another of my favorite vices: la sopa paraguaya. I always wonder why they call it "soup", it is not liquid. I do not know the exact recipe, I know it has a lot of eggs, onions, cheese, ad corn.
  3. http://www.cordobatimes.com/showup/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/44451-1.jpg Sandwich de milanesa. As popular in Argentina as a burger here. A "Milanese" is a breaded steak, fried or baked. My mouth is watering.
  4. The Uruguayan chivito, one of the best sandwiches in the Solar System. We are lucky in DC we have several places to eat it.
  5. This is a choripán. Perhaps he most popular fast food in most of Argentina. The "chorizo" (Argentine sausage) is put inside a French bread bun with just a touch of chimichurri. Of course there are fancier variations with more ingredients, but this is the one you get in cheap street food, and it is delicious.
  6. These are alfajores de maicena. Alajores are a traditional sweet snack in Argentina, so popular that is mostly industrialized, but some varieties are still easy to find in their artisanal version. This variation, is the ones easier to find home made, and it is my favorite.
  7. This is mazapán, very popular in Mexico and Texas. It is a sweet made mostly of peanut batter and sugar.
  8. Do not get distracted with Trump. We were casting out Spacey. Please, get back on track. http://www.editoriallapaz.org/apocalipsis_extracto_torturas_autodefe.jpg

  10. Do not waste your time. They have their witch to torch. Let them enjoy the blaming.
  11. OMG! I was forgetting my favorite one from Buenos Aires: http://empanadasgourmet.com.ar And from Corrientes, Argentina: http://www.corrientesintensa.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/images-1.jpg http://www.mburucuyapora.com.ar/fotos/Feria%20del%20Chipa%20Mboca%20Mburucuya.jpg This is chipá, traditional in Paraguay and Argentinean Northeast. In Brazil they have a variation they call pão de queijo. It is a basically a biscuit made of cheese and yuca flour. The basic dough, with tiny variations in the recipe is cooked in different ways, fried, baked, grilled.
  12. No sir. In general I dissaprove this kind of relationship. What I am saying is that I would never rush to easily judge anyone in these controversial issues. And here too many are already condemning him so easily.
  13. Really? Do you think that is the point I was making? Good for you!
  14. Yes, really. If you prefer 13, I am also fine with it.
  15. I wish a man like Spicey would have seduced me when I was 14. It would have been perhaps the beginning of an amazing adventure for me. It is amazing how easily we rush to judge and point fingers, when we ourselves participate in illegal activities and are easily judged and discriminated by mainstream society. I guess it makes you feel good to be the one pointing your finger to others. Good for you.
  16. By the way, it is just semi erect. http://media.tumblr.com/6216f87111a63c6a2b4ce2786662e8d4/tumblr_inline_mogn09S1W61qz4rgp.gif
