I agree. However, there is an answer: full decriminalization. Sex workers are not going to be fully respected until their activity is fully legal and they can demand the respect they deserve. It is astonishing how rarely we heard about legalization in Puritan America. We have so many channels to make our voices loud and clear, but we are so scared, sex is so stigmatized in the Land of the Free, that we all just shut up. A few caveats. When it is a first time, I always have a videoconference to check the vibe, whether they are for free or for a fee. I do not give them my exact address.
