Thank you for giving this advance warning. I'm also easily confused by rapidly shifting plots.
This advice will make the movie easier for others (like us!) to follow...

I think that when a movie is shot entirely from beginning-to-end without plot interruptions
it is called "shooting in continuity." An example of this was "Saving Private Ryan."

Now, three cheers for the Brits! Not only did they save the world from Hitler, they
have some of the most beautiful men. And sexiest escorts.

I didn't mind the time triptych presented among mole, sea & air. I don't think it's especially original beyond the supertitles indicating the timelines. Many films have converging stories. They're just not labeled. The sound design was riveting in this film. It drove the movie. Zimmer offers a grand score and Hoytema is just in his wake with visuals. Unfortunately, I felt Nolan lent empathy to the situations without bringing the characters to life. I was definitely stranded by low tide in the hull of a ship, I just wish I cared more for the boys there with me. It's a great film and it features terrific filmmaking, especially in light of the art by committee features flailing through cinemas today. While it's definitely not Nolan's best, it certainly deserves nods for overall cinematic craft and mighty tension, however minimalist.

Being a military history buff I enjoyed the movie and thought it was, overall, quite historically accurate. Acting and cimematography was quite good.

But I thought the way it was presented was unnecessarily “convoluted”. There were about 5 different stories going on with the “scene timing” going back and forth. One of the “stories” would progress and then you would find yourself “back in time” picking up the plot of another “story”. I was able to follow it - but it was confusing the way it was presented. But I have a simple mind that's easy to confuse.

I watched yesterday, even if you know details about the story (most Americans don't care about history) you'll be in suspense with the music and the acting.

Best movie of the year so far, but that's just my opinion.

Looking forward to seeing this. Its amazing to me that such a small country (pop. 330,000) produces so much outstanding cinema and music.

I appreciate the importance of sharing information, especially to avoid scams of various kinds and certainly to avoid physically dangerous situations. At the same time, one concern I have about inviting people to critique escorts on an anonymous forum is that there is no vetting process and in most cases no opportunity to hear “the other side of the story.” This really does not seem fair when someone’s livelihood is on the line and his reputation can be sullied by gossip or innuendo. I believe there have been incidents in the past where clients and/or escorts have joined the forum simply to cause trouble, making false claims to hurt someone’s business, whether out of a rivalry with a competitor or a misguided attempt to “get back” at someone who rejected their requests or offended them in some minor way. I know it’s not your intent to create some kind of “all out bitch fest,” but I think we need to tread carefully here.

Having said all that, I don’t mind saying that I would personally avoid “Sexy Mega Pornstar Brodie Sinclair” who claims to be “Rentmensfinest.” IMHO, discretion is the number one rule in this business, and he has demonstrably transgressed it. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/escort-outs-conde-nasts-cfo.106197/ In addition, he is reputed to be “batshit crazy.” https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/does-rm-have-a-responsibility-to-block-ads-from-people-like-brodie-sinclair.110665/#post-1041585 So yeah, he’s probably one to avoid.

The guys I'd posted about with pics above are some years older than I - it was a film phase I was going through as a young teen. They did, so to speak, crank my tractor. I will say one of the fellows that got my tractor going (other than my college fuck-buddy) was Jeff Aquilon, the "first" male super model. Wow! IMHO.
Remembered him as I was looking for samples of Bruce Weber's work I posted in the Gallery thread The Photographer.

"Shelter" is not a well-known known gay film, but it deals well with difficult family issues while being enjoyable as well.

Also Petro Almoodovar's "Bad Education" and "Law of Desire"

On "Death in Venice" I prefer the opera version (available on DVD) or the actual Thomas Mann novella. The value of the film is the locations in Venice both the canals and the Lido

The name of the church is singular . . . but the name of the film is plural. Surprised to not see this one mentioned more often. Gotta love that over the top excommunication scene. LOL. (And surprised Steve [now Max] Sandvoss didn't become a bigger star.)

Also, Another Country. (@JayCeeKy: You perhaps don't need me to tell you this but Colin Firth is in this one, too.)

No disagreement at all! I can't tell you how many times I've asked for a face picture, only to be told, "I'm a male model. I need to keep my face confidential." Once or twice I actually met up with Mr. Reticent. It was never the person in the picture. That excuse of "being a male model" is so over-used one wonders why new fake reasons aren't made up. I'm sorry this faker made you jump through hoops. I think it is dreadful and unethical.

Once again you're generalizing. Looking for love? Not in a million years. I think specific financials should be spoken of in person. I would never make an agreement online or on facetime or skype. Too many variables. But the expectation on both sides should be understood before meeting.

total "wrestle fetish-ist" here, more as a spectators than a participant.... so seeing this thread definitely got my early morninh juices flowing. i have always assumed that i am not alone, but nice to receive confirmation.

one thing i have noticed is that many wrestling sites seem to separate the athleticism from the eroticism - true? or are they simply conflated?
