Why not just hang people like slaughtered pigs that you see in butcher shop windows. Gag them first and then hang them. You could get a lot of people on a plane that way.

PARIS — Airlines are squeezing as many passengers as they can onto their jets, but one seat manufacturer believes its product can help carriers push capacity to the absolute limit. And it may help push down fares.
Say goodbye to whatever personal space you had left.
At this week's Paris Air Show, lots of curious convention-goers eagerly wanted to try out Avio Interior's "SkyRider" saddle-like airplane seat, but that's probably not the reception it would get if people found it installed on their next flight. See it in the slideshow at the top of this post.
SkyRider passengers would lean on a bicycle-seat type cushion that sits higher than your traditional airline seat. Legs sort of hang off the saddle, as they would if you were riding a horse. The seat back sits straight up, forcing good posture. A knee cut-out provides another precious few inches of legroom.
You're neither sitting nor standing — you're sort of leaning.

I'm always amused when people claim to take the 'High-Road' but then wish Karma to do their dirty work for them, and wish harm onto to others.

Drip, drip, drip.
New York (CNN Business)Boeing on Sunday said some of its 737 planes, including many 737 Max aircraft, may have faulty parts on their wings. It's the latest problem Boeing faces as it tries to get its most important and popular airplane, the grounded 737 Max, back in the air.
Working with the Federal Aviation Administration, Boeing said it has reached out to airlines that fly 737 planes, advising them to inspect their slat track assemblies on Max and NG aircraft. The 737 NG series includes the 737-600, -700, -800 and -900 planes.
Leading edge slats are an aerodynamic control surface that extend from the front of the wing. Some the tracks may not meet manufacturing standards and may need to be replaced, Boeing and the FAA said. They said if the parts are found to be defective, airlines should replace them before returning the planes to service.

NYTimes has a very thorough article on the MAX. Boeing created a inherently unstable aircraft, and tried to remedy it with a software fix. They also misled both the FAA and airline pilots about the aircraft.

I don’t keep up with your blog, but if you’re no longer doing that or outing clients anymore, that’s a good thing. When did you make the change? Was including this kind of stuff in your blog helpful in promoting yourself?

The more information that comes out about your namesake Max, the worse it gets for Boeing. The lawsuits are gonna be epic.
Weeks after the first fatal crash of the 737 Max, pilots from American Airlines pressed Boeing executives to work urgently on a fix. In a closed-door meeting, they even argued that Boeing should push authorities to take an emergency measure that would likely result in the grounding of the Max.
The Boeing executives resisted. They didn’t want to rush out a fix, and said they expected pilots to be able to handle problems.

I was there last month and thought there were some pretty hot guys at Boardwalk. I think Johnson’s has a greater number of hot guys but Boardwalk’s renovation makes it a much better space (for me) to hang out in.

Max, looks like your name sake is further delayed returning to the skies...
Some U.S. airline executives, for their part, have suggested that they may hesitate to start flying MAX jets before a core group of foreign carriers also takes the step. European regulators, moving slower than the FAA, are conducting a safety review of the MAX fleet stretching beyond an assessment of the specific fix.
“Everyone is being forced to take a cold, hard look at the calendar and reassess what’s possible,” said one U.S. government official briefed on the shifting timeline.
The logistics of taking jetliners out of storage, which entails special inspections, engine checks and other preparations, also could add weeks of delay between an FAA action lifting the flight ban and having the aircraft carry passengers.

I agree, probable pilot error. It is still a bit of tarnish on the Boeing brand.
Just hope they get the animals that were in the plane cargo hold out OK!!!!!

Growing up in and around Hollywood, BH, WEHO, Studio City and Burbank, I've seen and met countless "celebrities" over the years. Personally I have zero interest in meeting or seeing someone that would be considered a "celebrity"...I have seen or heard all the stories, most of the so called celebrities, (not all) are as fucked up as the rest of us. Jay Leno being one of the exceptions...

More grist for the mill:
The Senate transportation committee said Tuesday that multiple whistleblowers have warned of serious safety issues in the government's safety inspection program for new aircraft, including Boeing's 737 max jet that's crashed twice since October.
"Allegation from these whistleblowers include information that numerous FAA employees, including those involved in the Aircraft Evaluation Group (ARG) for the Boeing 737 MAX, had not received proper training and valid certifications," the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation said in a letter to the FAA's acting administrator on Tuesday.
