  1. Not a bad one in the bunch...
  2. FPL (Florida power and light) will have the grid close to full capacity by the weekend. Several friends and businesses have power, but there isn't enough power in the grid to run many A/C's, but it is getting better everyday. Very few of the businesses in FTL suffered any long term damage. I would imagine that everyone will be at a 100% by this winter. Come on down the weather will be fine...I have not been to Miami.
  3. http://www.buylightfixtures.com/productimages/LED-CFL-INC-Dimmer-Large.jpgDim everything....
  4. I haven't been out, but a large percentage of the business that are west of Federal Hwy have lights but no A/C. FPL has said that in many areas there is power enough in the grid to run lights but not enough to power A/C units. I might go out next week. I will report then...
  5. Amen...
  6. I vaguely remember seeing his Villa Maggio for sale in the real estate section a while back. The architecture was not my style, but I thought the land it sat on was stunning, which made the multi-million dollar price tag almost reasonable. http://www.stjamescanter.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/aerial-w-frank.jpg
  7. For real...(and sexually) http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/tsminteractive.com/files/2012/02/carl-edwards-daytona-500.jpg
  8. I'm just going to throw this out there. @azdr0710 is correct. Having been a native of SoCal and a very frequent visitor to the California deserts...like Lake Havasu in July and Palm Springs in August, believe me when I say this, "It is a dry heat" in California, and that makes all the difference in the world. Summers in Florida are just brutal sometimes. It's a daily battle dealing with the humidity. Don't get me wrong, I'm not leaving here, but give me California heat anytime... OK...back to the real topic at hand.
  9. Perhaps, but your demeanor on the forum is that of a gentleman. I think you have many of us wanting to meet you. You come across as kind and sincere, which is often a rare thing among escorts. There are a few escorts who had me at "Hello". It was often that first sincere smile and greeting. You're doing just fine...
  10. Well yes...I do nice dinners and small shopping sprees (usually underwear) ;)BUT, cash is always a nice touch.
  11.
  12. It's still fun, you just have to know where to look...
  13. +1 Yes... there is the architecture, but you are right, few can see the beauty.
  14. I considered all of that and more...well except for the culture part. . Culture I get from traveling not from the locals, though you can find it if you look. . I chose Fort Lauderdale, first and foremost for year round boating, and water front property that you could actually use as 'water front' property, then added to that warm climate, cost of living, active gay subculture. I don't do earthquakes or cold weather, and when I turn on the tap, I want hot water every time, not once and while, and when I call an ambulance, I want to know they will be here in a few minutes or less, and when I put my money in the bank, I want to know it will be there when I come back. Sure it's Trump country, but there are plenty of us boys around so that I don't pay them no mind. When I did retire, I wanted a new experience, meet new people, a bit of an adventure, mix things up a little. Life's not a dress rehearsal, this is it, so I was willing to jump into uncharted waters. No place is perfect, but so far so good.
  15. I should have moved to San Francisco...
  16. Nice...
  17. The Rock...
  18. Amen...
  19. LOL...and the humidity, don't forget the humidity.
  20. Wilton Manors...An amazingly diverse community. No state income tax and you can still find property that is reasonable... considering. And if you start walking east from the Alibi in Wilton Manors with a dog, you'll be married before you get to the beach...
  21. #1 Every now and then you just have to say..."fuck" (with #1 being best)
  22. Thank you...All better now.
