  1. I applaud your honesty. I understand more than you know. As you are aware. the rate of recovery is dismally low, so in many respects you are at war, and it is a daily fight. Kudos to you...
  2. All of them are great!! But anything Mapplethorpe
  3. I remember like it was yesterday. He was amazing. I've always wondered what happened to him. I hope that he is happy.
  4. Stunning...
  5. Ooops...
  6. God bless you for this @LoveNDino ...I needed your morning shot of Pietro. Lot's of drama on the forum today. One of the boys in the political forum went crazy, and then the threads in the lounge about when are you past your sexual prime and how long do you want to live...Good Lord, could it be any more depressing. It's enough to drive a man to drinking. So I'm gonna just sit here for a second and enjoy the view of this beauty.
  7. I don't know, but when I get there...I'll know For now, any day that I'm vertical is a good day.
  8. +1

  12. Very sad. Praying for his recovery. Met him on numerous occasions at pool parties in FTL. No matter who approached him, he was always extremely charming, personable and accommodating. No need to rehash the affects of meth, suffice it to say that I understand the Hell he is going through. And yes, @JEC is correct, meth is one of the most addictive drugs known to man. He's got a long road ahead of him.
  13. Thanks for the link...Interesting
  14. Thanks...good information. Writing this down. I want to sound like I know what I'm talking about.
  15. This is my last post on the old girl...She gave her all for the forum.
  16. Yes, but my computer couldn't download it, it kept freezing. That was probably the first clue that it was time toss out the old Model A. I know, I'm seriously outdated. I went to Best Buy yesterday and the salesman sorta had your reaction. lol. So that's it...As of 9am this morning I decided to buy a new PC.
  17. Whoa...He is shaping up nicely.
  18. Well back when, I've hired him as an escort, and for extended periods of time. He still remains to this day one of the best hires I've ever had. I found him charming, sexy, provided a rather endearing boyfriend experience, and over dinner in conversation, very business savvy. Yes I've seen his videos, and I am aware of his restrictions and limitations which I won't debate here for the millionth time, suffice it to say I would repeat in a heart beat. So from this ol cowboy...I wish him well.
  19. Windows 8 Blue Screen Memory Dump...It was happening sometimes 2-3 times a day, and the reboot took at least 5 minutes. I've run a scan, cleaned the drives, closed unnecessary files, and did an AVG tuneup. All that helped, and it's noticeably faster, but the "Memory Dump" still happens every few days. The PC now reboots immediately, and only takes a few seconds, but it's annoying. I have no problem throwing the old PC out and buying new (it's probably time) but would like to see if there is a quick fix first.

  21. Depending on ones definition of "Nomad" and the reasons someone would partake in a journey like that, my advice would be to do your research..thoroughly. 6 months back I decided to cross RVing, across the US, off my bucket list. I wanted to spend about a year zig zagging across the country hitting all the national parks and monuments, then head up the west coast, cross over into Canada, hit Montreal of course and then Maine, and spend several months working my way down the east coast. I wouldn't be looking for "home" per se, but rather a nice adventure. In talking to people who had done that very thing, all of them talked about the loneliness of traveling alone, and the danger of depression setting in. All agreed that doing such a trip was best done in small increments. Most lasted only a few months, before heading home. I'd like to think that those issues wouldn't befall me, but I still considered the consequences...As of now, I've tabled the idea. I don't want to regret not doing it, so it remains on the bucket list.
  22. All true and the same arguments I've used with my friend for years, but unfortunately for a lot of people over eating is just another addiction that most of us don't understand. After considering the surgery for over a year, she is about to pull the trigger, but it does come with risks. For her it is emotional and I feel that unless she finds out why she is overeating in the first place, changing her behavior may not be successful. It's sad watching the quality of someones life deteriorate. I've known some successes, but there are failures too.
  23. I'm partial to Fort Lauderdale. Less traffic, less attitude, less drama. Wilton Manors is the gay area. Leboy: for more the twink type, but some gorgeous muscled hybrids can be found on any given night. The Boardwalk: Hands down for the muscle boys. Was there last Friday and they had a rather amazing line up...most were very friendly, fantastic ripped bodies and no attitude. I was pleasantly surprised. Johnsons: Located in the heart of Wilton Manors. It's all new and a nice format reminiscent of Swinging Richards. He's working on the line up, but promising. Bartenders pour a solid drink that are half the price and twice the size of anything on The Drive. Staff is friendly, and an owner that is very visible and involved in the daily operation of the bar. Southern Nights, Hunters: Has go go boys, but no strippers, meaning no VIP or back rooms. Hotels: Depending on your price point...Plenty of decent Gay B&B's in North Beach, but I'm partial to the W or the Hilton on the beach. Prices are often competitive with the B&B's and they have consistent service. I personally like the Beach area for hotels. More traffic and congestion, but very walk-able and lots of eye candy. Sebastian's (the gay beach) is right across the street. Friends recommend The Hyatt at 17th St Causeway. You always can find good prices but the run to Wilton Manors is a little farther...Good luck. On a side note...I don't do Miami.
