1. Homesick Snowbird...

I was in Ft. Myers, Florida the other day and I saw a bumper sticker on a parked car that read: "I miss Chicago."

So I broke the window, stole the radio, shot out two of the tires, added an Obama bumper sticker and left a note that read, "I hope this helps!"

As a newly transplanted urbanite from LA....this is just "laugh out loud" stuff. :)

  2. Reminds me of a former neighbor... Who's abs were completely undone by the pizza kitchen... yep... Every night the pizza guy showed up at his door... That and the Corona Lites... Yeah! The low carb beer was gonna help carve out those abs... Not exactly the right kind of six pack involved in the equation.

I do hope you realize it was just one of my "cheat days"....;) I love it when people order pizza or double bacon cheese burgers with fries, then insist on a "Diet Coke" or as you say a "lite beer"....OK that all balances out  lol lol

  3. Just remember BVB. Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym.

Well not completely...lol...Diet is probably 80% of it, but gym work is needed to carve them up, which is why I mentioned adhering to a strict diet just get old after awhile. Tonight I looked at the spinach salad, and thought for, oh maybe a second, and said F...it and called Dominos Pizza...again. ;)

  4. So I guess it really is out there and there's a variety of causes.

Plus a variety of reactions! :)

I read many of the responses, but I will say that while some of it has to do with steroid use, most I suspect is just a persons lack of desire to continue the ab routine to a point of maintaining a six pack. After 40 years old, and working out for years, many of these guys just are not willing to maintain the strict diet and exercise routine that is needed to have that six pack. It is without a doubt the hardest area of the body to maintain. Just one thin layer of fat can cover up a nice six pack.

Now is it possible to create and maintain a six pack after 40? Well of course. I see it all day long at the gym. There are guys who are well into there 50's and beyond with incredible bodies, so it is possible, just difficult.

  5. BVB... I've posted this before... but Nick Harmon had a philosophy: If you eat everyday... you must train your abs everyday. I have not seen him in a couple of years, but when I last did he had the most gorgeous and lickable abs imaginable. I have no idea if he took any steroids, but what ever he was doing he certainly maintained a certain "look"... the classic V look of traditional bodybuilders.

As for myself, based on his advice I do an an routine every day... and even though I maintain a healthy diet and only drink spring water and skim milk it is still indeed a constant, never ending, and at times futile battle. Of course the aging process seems to cause a shift in body mass... and roids or not... I think that factors into the equation as well. In my case it's totally based on age!

lol...I'm right behind you on the ab routine... lol, but it is such a difficult area to work, at this stage of my life it is almost damn near impossible to keep motivated with my abs, cause there ain't no way in hell I'm given up my Gin. ;)

  6. One then needs to compensate with additional ab exercises to counteract the effect. In other words, as far as the abs are concerned it is three steps forward and two steps back... Guys today go for size and the gut region responds just as much as other areas if the body. Of course if one over exercises the midsection... or uses weights... it will increase in size without steroid use.

Spot on WG...unfortunately as you mention one has to compensate with additional ab exercises, and there in lies the problem. Few guys are willing to go the extra mile to keep the abs in six pack form. It is a never ending battle. I know guys who work their abs twice a day, never ever drink alcohol and adhere to a strict diet. All well and good if you are pre-contest or for a short period of time, but damn near unrealistic in the real world...

  7. THE AUSTRALIAN APPROACH

A young Aussie lad moved to London and went to Harrods looking for a job.

The manager asked 'Do you have any sales experience?'

The young man answered 'Yeah, I was a salesman back home in Dubbo.'

The manager liked the Aussie so he gave him the job.

His first day was challenging and busy, but he got through it.

After the store was locked up, the manager came down and asked, 'OK, so how

many sales did you make today?'

    The Aussie said, 'One!'

The manager groaned and continued, 'Just one? Our sales people average 20 or

30 sales a day. How much was the sale for?'

    '£124,237.64.'

The manager choked and exclaimed £124,237.64!! What the hell did you sell

    him?'

'Well, first I sold him a small fish hook, then a medium fish hook, and then

I sold him a new fishing rod.

'Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down at the coast,

so I told him he would need a boat, so we went down to the boat department

and I sold him that twin-engine Power Cat.

'Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull it, so I took him

down to car sales and sold him the 4x4.’

The manager, incredulous, said, 'You mean to tell me...a guy came in here to

buy a fish hook and you sold him a boat and a 4x4?'

'No, no, no... he came in here to buy a box of tampons for his lady friend

    and I said...

'Well, since your weekend's buggered, mate, you might as well go fishing.'

    LMAO....Didn't see that one coming.

  8. Looks like the "teething" problems are getting a little long in the tooth

And the Dreamliner nightmare continues for Boeing. An Ethiopian Airlines 787 caught fire at Heathrow today. No casualties....but a real headache for Boeing. Its not yet clear if this fire was the result of a faulty battery or something else. Boeing shares dropped significantly during the day. Any bets on when the Dreamliner will be grounded again?

    http://www.cnbc.com/id/100883050?__source=yahoo%7Cfinance%7Cheadline%7Cheadline%7Cstory&par=yahoo&doc=100883050%7CDreamliner%20Fire%20Sends%20Boe

I find it amusing that it was Ethiopian Air. Of course I am probably the only one that thought it was amusing that Boeing let the Ethiopians be the guinea pigs in the first flight with passengers. A parked plane catches on fire...uuumm, they appear not only unsafe flying, but parked as well. My money is on the battery problem, and on another grounding.

  9. I know it's not Friday yet, but I just came across this and it made me laugh out loud!

    "A MESSAGE FROM BUDWEISER"

Please, take care of yourself out on the roads this summer.

A recent joint study conducted by the Department of Motor Vehicles and

the Department of Health indicates that 23% of traffic accidents are

    alcohol related.

This means that the remaining 77% are caused by assholes who drinkbottled water, Starbucks, soda, juice, energy drinks and shit like that.

Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol. They cause

    three times as many accidents.

    Yes this is laugh-out-loud stuff....:D

  10. That settles it. Now I'm officially intrigued. :p

Well in his defense, who among us has not pulled some hot young man off the streets and clothed him, fed him, housed him, and tried to 'save' his life (whatever the hell that means)....;)......OK OK, guilty as charged. Now I never pimped them out, but I sure as hell at one time thought I was the 'great savior' lol

  11. A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00am by a loud pounding on the door.

The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the

pouring rain, is asking for a push.

"Not a chance" says the man. "It's 3:00 in the morning".

He slams the door and returns to bed.

"Who was that?" asks his wife.

"Just some drunk guy asking for a push," he answers.

"Did you help him?" she asks.

"No, I did not. It's 3:00 in the morning and pouring rain out there".

"Well, you have a short memory" says his wife. "Can't you remember 3 months

ago when our car broke down and those two guys helped us?"

"I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!"

    "God loves drunk people too".

The man does as he is told, gets dressed and goes out into the pouring rain.

He calls out in the dark "Hello, are you still there?"

    "Yes" comes back the answer.

"Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband.

"Yes, please", comes the reply from the dark.

"Where are you?" asks the husband.

"Over here on the swing" replied the drunk.

Laugh out loud stuff....now that was cute!!

  12. My loaf of Pepperidge Farm Hearty White has high fructose corn syrup added. It's almost ubiquitous.

True enough, and a classic example of marketing. Pepperidge farm markets and packages its product as something that is a healthy product, it is not. Which is why eating healthy and cheaper than a 'Fast Food Meal' takes time, planning, reading, and education.

As ISC mentions, it is absolutely possible to eat cheaper than a fast food meal, but it is not easy. It's a fallacy that you can't. You have to read the labels, think about what you are buying, plan your meals, educate yourself, consider alternatives and as he also says, which is really a very important observation...STAY ON THE PERIMETER of the store....

DISCLAIMER: This is not directed at you Seek..lol..it is just some thoughts I had on the subject.

  13. oh man, I am so sorry to hear that. But I think his case is very rare. I am not the most attractive guy in the world but all of the escorts I have hired so far treated me well. I do know some of them were not really attracted to me because they could not get hard, not good connections at the first meeting etc but they all handled the case very professionally and tried to make it up for me.

Thanks again for the post....it was spot on!!! AND I do think that you are correct, very few escorts have those limitations. It was the first time in several decades of hiring that something like that happened to me. All you can do is "Grin and bear it"

  14. It's not that I condone discrimination. I don't. But this job/profession/avocation of escorting hits so close to what the escort does on a personal basis. I just don't know. It seems to me that if there is a type you know you aren't attracted to on a personal basis, and you know that you wouldn't be able to get beyond those feelings in a paid basis either--then this might be one of those cases where discrimination is OK to practice. I mean I would hate to end up hiring an escort who totally hated my type--either physique or ethnicity. It probably would lead to a not very fulfilling session for me. And as clients we do discriminate with our wants to. I mean for most of us there are escorts we would never hire for reasons such as to include race, physiques, looks, habits/practices, etc etc, etc.

    Gman

While I completely understand your point of view Gman, I also disagree with you. The last time this subject came up, a firestorm erupted on the forum, with members emotionally split in two camps. I'm not going there again... I posted that information only to warn those that might have an issue with his policy. Nothing more nothing less. I don't much have the stomach for a long dissertation on whether this is a matter of racism or simply a matter of personal preference. Many escorts have issues with HWP, and I can understand that. So hire him if you choose, but 'discreet' sums the situation up perfectly....

  15. a good example would be he can have sex with any old creepy dirty white/latino/middle eastern man when paid but he chooses not to have sex with a black/indian/asian man even if the guy is hot and willing to pay. Not sure how it is considered in his professionalism but that is the fact

Thank you for elaborating discreet. I unfortunately found all of this out the hard way....

  16. I second JLA...He is far more handsome than his pics would indicate, and 6'3 and 200 + lbs, and solid as a rock. He is extremely personable but most importantly he is an amazing top, and VERY into making sure that the client is having a good time. Once he gets plugged into what gets you going, he will skillfully take you to the edge and back several times....
