All of these....in Los Angeles there was a local clown show on TV “Chuckles the Clown”. I made a brief appearance on it at 4 years old on B&W TV. My dad was a real estate agent....he was showing a house in his newish Chrysler in the 60’s which had seat belts. He says a boy of the family got into the car, buckled up, and asked my dad “cool, when do we crash?”

No area codes.....and phone books! There used to be two listings of my surname in the phone book, my dad and my grandfather....now hundreds and hundreds.

I go back/forth and agree with all the +/- reasons above. Sometimes the masseur coming to me is more relaxing, but if I can’t provide the correct environment then maybe an I call to him. I’m open to both.....

I buy quite a few unique frozen/refrigerated meats etc. online, I find it very difficult to do much better than $50 shipping from FedEx or UPS. Host of suppliers, D’Artaganan, Snake river farms, Creekstone, various Louisiana vendors, fresh rabbit vendor etc. pretty much all the same. Sometimes specials or minimum orders discount shipping. That said you can often add quite a bit to some orders for the same $50 shipping! So I wait until I can stock up a bit.

Goldbelly is a great resource for a special treat....but base prices and shipping are very expensive.

@Lucky If you’re referring to the Long Beach, CA issue it’s $4/hour “hazard pay” that the Long Beach City Council voted to impose on grocery stores. Kroger’s announced one Food For Less and one Ralph’s scheduled to close. Kroeger claims stores “underperforming”.

I’d agree in general but there was one hot night about 15 years ago involving fresh strawberries and whipped cream the concierge sent up as a welcome gift....

I’m a pour over guy, one cup at a time. Roast my own green beans a couple days a week and grind per cup. The Illy Forte is really good though... i’m always looking for a ground coffee that’s easy to travel with and this definitely fits that bill!
