  1. Do you not like to cook ahead and freeze larger batches into daily individual servings? I’m just curious, personally not a fan of that vein of gadgets. Not to say I don’t have addictive kitchen gadget syndrome, just not small electrics.
  2. Yes, yes, yes lose the spices. Visit a local Penzy’s here in SoCal after your move. I make a traditional family “Tom and Jerry” at Christmastime. When I sometimes make them at my 94 yo aunt’s house, and ask for nutmeg...I get this. She has the same can last 40 years?
  3. Bumping, TODAY is giving Tuesday! Let’s help out!
  4. I mentioned this guy earlier....after my post above we actually met in person. Very low monthly subscription, likes to show his ass a lot but not much else. Still fun for a month. I always turn off auto renew, and see how much content gets posted. He’s trying ??‍♂️ https://onlyfans.com/jewelian
  5. You guys having me looking again!! Rented an VRBO condo in Honolulu for two weeks once with one, sold!
  6. Yes there is a porn performer I met once who was in a couple semi-mainstream movies later in his post-porn career. He became a successful attorney, always claimed his porn performances paid for law school. One of my all time favorite masseurs was a struggling actor, long after we both moved on I was pleasantly surprised to see him in a bit part in one of the Superman franchise movies. Perhaps a bit more common here in SoCal so see these worlds collide.
  7. Yes that what I sadly figured out, right now my Truvada is basically free after my insurance and Gilead co-pay program. This is my guess as well...would follow suit of other emerging generics.
  8. I’m concerned when I go on Medicare after the first of the year...because so far the generic (Emtricitine/tenovir dispoproxil fumarate) pops up in Part D insurance calculators as more expensive to me than Truvada would be? Maybe it’s just too new, not in the “system” yet? Estimates almost 4-5 times more annual out of pocket than name brand Truvada, doesn’t make sense. And looking at the Gilead copay assistance site, they won’t cover copay when I go to Medicare?
  9. LA County just issued a stricter “safer at home” order as average case counts top 4751.
  10. so @Wanderoz I’m curious why you found my reply above “insulting” ??‍♂️
  11. Agree, It is a good program to be thankful for!
  12. He links to one of those “verification” websites that attempt to harvest your credit card info. A scam.
  13. The price of being comfortable!
  14. Good point....best paradigm for me is start an RM messenger chat (or legacy RM email message) then switch to text. I’ve never had a provider say “no” to texting, they usually initiate the request.
  15. Great info/link....thanks!
  16. Yes, they get it when they ultimately login. Whether they reply ??‍♂️ Long thread here about it. Most guys tell me “text is best!”.
  17. Managed care is one reason I’m leaning towards a Supplemental “Medigap” plan at the moment. I’m about 2/3 through, it. Thanks and I agree it’s a “must read”. Ugh, I wasn’t aware of this until a few months ago...and I also won’t be paying the lowest Part B premium.
  18. I took a test yesterday expecting a 24-48 hours result wait. Was a drive thru test, after doctor swabbed my nasal passage He said “park over there....” 25 mins later a nurse dropped of my negative test results! ??
  19. Happy thanksgiving all! My brother and I are deep frying multiple turkeys as usual. But instead of a large family gathering our siblings will come by and pick up a deep fried turkey to go! Everyone’s bringing sides in small portions for each person also to take home with their to go turkey
  20. Thanks all for the replies so far. Although I mentioned I will still have W-2 income, I will not be covered by any employer plan, I’m not covered now - self insured.
  21. So Ken Jennings as been announced as the first “guest host”, recordings after thanksgiving to be aired after first of the year.
  22. So as I approach that magical birthday I’m doing a lot of research. I’ve already applied to SSA and been approved for Part A & B, I’m not retiring. I’ll continue to receive W2 and Schedule C income for the foreseeable future. Although I’m pretty well informed and well researched… I’m still a little confused over Medicare advantage versus a Medicare supplemental plan? Also not crystal clear on Parr D, and which plan best allows for an add on prescription plan? Premium cost is really an issue, whatever I choose will be about 75% less than my current self insured plan! Thoughts? Advice?
  23. +1, a very down to earth young man
  24. I’ve got one ATM near me that dispenses 20/50/100’s you pick and mix ‘n match to your total withdrawal. I don’t find that at most branches however. Ironically, The last time I got some counterfeit 20s it was from a bank ATM. I paid my gentleman friend, and he went back to the same bank I had drawn the money from and they told him three of the bills were counterfeit! I made good on the fakes.
