I’ve been on seeking almost 4 years now and have NEVER been asked for a Photo ID. Edit: I did a bit of goggle searching….if your account has been suspended you may be asked for a photo ID to reinstate your account. Not for initial signup…unless, you are a “baby” and college age. I appreciate them trying to keep underaged off the site.

I’m known here for being a big fan of Seeking, many successes. But your post reminded me I wanted to mention a warning. Twice in just a couple of days, after I’ve messaged someone of interest…they immediately reply back “Text me at xxx-xxx-xxxx”. Inevitably these short text conversation lead to a hardship case as you mention above…asking for help/cash before a meet. I tell them that I have a strict policy of never sending any allowance before meet. Sometimes they persist for a text message or two…then ghost me. I mention this because it seems to be a bit prevalent right now…holiday season scams? Hint, I immediately block them on Seeking, don’t want a disgruntled scammer reporting me for something 😉

Do we really want to go down this road without some proof?

I watched it last night on Amazon. I liked it… I’m fairly easy to please with movies, I’m not a harsh critic. It was entertaining.

He has five 5 ⭐️ reviews, two with the added comments “one of your best” and “Highly recommend to anyone !!”. Re: checked boxes and prefs on RM mean almost zero to me. Some providers just check all. Some are more than happy to oblige on services NOT marked as “into” or prefs. I know there are threads here on the forum about how some posters here don’t like “ask” or “ask me” in a profile. If I have an interest in a guy, and his RM profile goes a bit contrary to my regular prefs…I ASK, most often with pleasant results. Or, move on to the next…

I send text greetings and sometimes a little Venmo greeting to a few of my seeking Arrangements friends 😉

Well when your post is “unread” the title is in bold font to those who haven’t read it yet. Goes out of bold once user has read it. Might be confusing if a thread title were allowed to be all bold all the time?

@Charlie, as fellow Californians my younger brother and his partner of 25 years surprised us (pleasant surprise) by getting married recently. Everything you mention above were considerations for them - but they also both have large pension plans, and with legal marriage they can get the pension benefits if their spouse pre-deceases one or the other.

Recently with Southwest Airline (which covers a lot of my domestic travel) I’ve just started paying full fare for my self and/or a young man I’m flying in, which is 100% refundable up to 20-30 mins before your flight. This has proved to be a wise investment in the last few months with travel hiccups and friend’s changed plans. Any fare on Southwest can be refunded for future travel, my full fare tix are refundable to original payment option or to future travel.
