I’m a big fan and will be watching. Haven’t made my “pick” yet. Today, Friday is a also big day of racing at Churchill Down in anticipation of Saturday’s big event. I’ve been to the Kentucky Derby once, in 1992. Lil E. Tee beat an overwhelmingly popular and overbet Arazi. Due to the nature of parimutuel betting....the prices were huge with Arazi out of the money, I won something on the place horse (second) paid like $50 for $2 ticket, I believe it was a California horse named Casual Lies. I attend the race track live in Del Mar, CA during the summer and fall....sometimes visit Santa Anita. Online wagering and live races on TV and streaming have made going to the racetrack strictly a social event....I can watch and wager on horse races literally world wide from my TV, iPhone, iPad, etc.

Two Coachella weekends, Stagecoach, White party....hard to avoid a crowd in April.

I won a decent amount at a craps table one night after playing for a couple hours. Took myself to the Yellowtail sushi bar in the Bellagio for some sushi and purchased a particularly nice cold sake. I received a USPS tracking notice that my 2 day priority mail package had arrived at its destination in Texas and was delivered. Whew! I was quite surprised when I went to my home mailbox here in SoCal that evening and the same “delivered” package was in MY mailbox, LOL. Don’t *even* get me started on their Amazon 2 day delivery reliability.
