  6. I tried to reach out to him when I was in NOLA. First via RM messaging, exchanged text #’s, never heard from him. Another RM message “my phone got stole (sic)”. We never got in touch despite trying to communicate for 4 days.
  7. Worse yet....how could you forget you already posted about this? Four months ago: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/ever-taken-part-in-a-scavenger-hunt.139085/
  8. “Charlie” the character would have said no thanks. Charlie Sheen on the other hand might have advanced the conversation
  9. I guess I interpreted it more like he’d rather have not even known....because he didn’t want to deal with it. But I’m sensitive to the subject....so maybe just me.

  11. Most abdominal surgery scars are barely noticeable with today’s laparoscopic procedures.
  12. It was a good episode pointing out how shallow people can be about others and about fat shaming. Even the Asian doctor’s barely feigned disgust that the patient lost weight “the easy way” by having bariatric surgery. And the “husband’s” response about yes possibly his partner might gain his weight back “I wish I didn’t know that...” All in all sad but very true reactions to those who have had bariatric surgery.
  13. Spent 4 hours with Sean Knight at an LAX hotel....I was underwhelmed. I think he was in an odd spot, perhaps wrapping up that part of his careeer..maybe some mental conflict IDK. Nice guy, but yeah I was underwhelmed.
  14. @Epigonos are deviled eggs old lady food? I say nay...
  15. Salmon croquettes maybe?
  16. There was even a TV special (Disney?) that I vividly remember showing how it was being packed in Rome for travel to New York, they used fine sand to fill/pack all the minisicule “folds” of the sculpture. I had an “Auntie Mame” type that was taking me to the Worlds Fair and to visit family, so any TV, reading, research about the Fair pre-trip heightened my anticipation.
  17. Nothing wrong with classic “old lady food”!
  18. Mmmm, I had once night with Braeden I’ll never forget.
  19. OMG that’s hideous! I saw the REAL Pieta at the NY World Fair (1963ish?) and again in Rome in 1974.
  20. When I was a kid my parents moved a lot, but I always found them.
  21. Agreed...
  22. Mmmmmm
  23. Or “hang up” your phone?
  24. I don’t know if it’s odd, but as I read the posting I immediately thought “well I wouldn’t want to eat there...”
