@Kody S did you see Leo at Energy Men? Did you book through the spa or directly with Leo? Trying to connect the dots here… Leo is currently on the 27 Men Spa one day a week. (The 27 manager Ben has confirmed that Leo’s RM pics #1 and #9 are real.) When I search RM by distance Leo shows up right between Jacob and Allon who are at New Yorker Men. Perhaps he’s floating between all three spas. Had a decent experience with Jacob at NYM which I posted on last week but NYM is not as nice as 27. Maybe will try Leo at 27.

So there are a slew of RM and MF ads in NYC by individual spa masseurs. The majority of them are at rates higher (some much higher) than if you were to just call the spa directly and make an appointment or just walk in. He has 2 reviews that claim $200 paid for an hour. NYM rates are $65 an hour, $95 for 90 min. On Sunday, I walked into NYM without an appointment. Jacob greeted me. Asked how long I wanted and if I wanted a man or women. I said 90 minutes with a guy. He showed me to the room and said “I’ll be right with you.” I received a perfectly fine, full 90 minutes session, zero upselling and left happy for a total of $175 all in for the 90 minutes. I wonder how this would have gone down if I booked directly with him? Would the service be any different for the higher rate? If I’m going to pay a full “independent” rate, I’d rather it be in a non-spa setting. I will likely go back and see him again, and may reach out directly and inquire just to get the lay of the land. Anyone else care to share their experiences in going directly to the masseur versus the general spa contact? Do you simply not tip when the rate is standard private level?

Yep… no one has tried him cuz we Clevelanders demand much higher caliber. 😝
