@EastbayMike correctly said it was a “false analogy”. There’s no comparing a masseur who may have unknowingly passed on an STD versus someone intentionally and criminally drugging a person to have sex!

Agree completely. I was very appreciative when an upstanding masseur contacted me once to say that he tested positive for gonorrhea. The shot sucked, but situation was cleared quickly.

Well the only 2 reviews from a few weeks ago are laughably written by the same non-English “client”. Another red flag... when you Google his phone number you can see that he recently changed his MF ad name. Many of the old links are still showing up in the Google cache but when you click, they are bad. His rate was $10 less in the old ad.

Curious incident... I had a great massage at an NYC spa. Both the spa and masseur are extensively discussed in the thread “Spas in NYC”. The massage was 90 minutes. I gave the owner at the front desk $100. He gave me back $10 change. I took the $10 bill, added it to three $20 bills and gave the $70 tip to the masseur. Standing in the hall way after I left, I hear the owner ask the masseur “He gave you $30?” The masseur answers “Yes. $30”. That’s all I heard. Curious about the owner asking, about the masseur hiding the real amount and whether he had to share any portion with the owner? I won’t be happy if this is indeed the practice. Any insights?

Funny, the only one time I ever payed upfront was to a very skiddish guy I found on Craigslist offering 90 minutes for $60. He seemed very nervous having me in his apartment. I thought ok, if it’ll calm him down. Indeed he did warm up and admitted that I was his first ever in-call and had just started doing massage. Not trained, but it was ridiculously good for the price. He seemed almost embarrassed when I tipped him (well) on the way out. The next time there was no suggestion of an upfront payment. Sadly he disappeared.
