  1. The scope of this tragedy is still unfolding as news reports are being updated. I don't think the term holocaust in terms of the destruction to Lahanai is an exageration. This is going to take years to recover from and even then some will not get back the life they had before. These destructive wildfires are going to have to be anticipated and steps taken to avert them in the future. There are lessons to be learned if we want to take the effort to do so.
  2. And lists PNP which is also listed by his client in last review
  3. I figured the water would be shallower around PEI. In the Bay of Fundy where I once swam in August, it is very cold, about 54f the day I went.
  4. Unlike the Cape, the waters off NS are too cold to swim in. I guess PEI is warmer but never been there.
  5. I took that pic as a subtle message that watersports was a specialty of his.
  6. Nice to hear even white sharks have some buddies. And they have come to Canada. Omg.
  7. I was in Hawaii decades ago with my new boyfriend. It was sort of our honeymoon. We spent 3 nights in Maui at Ka'anapali Beach and drove into Lahanai for lunch at Hamburger Mary's where we met a couple we knew from Europe. We also met another gay couple on the beach where we were staying from Ottawa. It was such a small world in 1984. The banyan tree I remember was near our hotel in Waikiki. At the Royal Hawaiian Hotel I believe. It was very famous from some radio program from the 1930's. Under the banyan tree. I'm sorry to hear of this tragedy. It was such a nice paradise.
  8. I've always wanted to meet him. We texted back and forth before the pandemic but haven't been back since. He was great at communicating and seemed sincere. He was also open about his personal life which I appreciated as it made him seem more relateable.
  9. Boy, those were the early days. Are there any streets named after him?
  10. Most people over the course of two years will suffer from one or more of those side effects in any event. Headaches? Diarrhea? Fatigue? So how do they know it is caused by their taking PreP? In those stats, is the condition chronic if on PreP?
  11. Some of the best stonemasons came from Quebec. They were hired by the gentry who wanted the best in workmanship. Montreal has probably the largest collection of stone mansions in any city in North America. What nationality was your great grandfather? Before his family came to Quebec?
  12. Eleven and a half inches and he only bottoms. Give me a break!
  13. Always wanted to go to Turkey whenever I thought about it but never did. A friend of mine, now long deceased, went in 2002 and had a blast. I was house sitting his 4 dogs back in Montreal and got a call from VISA. They wanted to know about all the charges that had started appearing on his credit card from Istanbul. I said, oh that's just my friend so I guess he's having a good time.
  14. I would drink his pee but at the end he said he doesn't drink his own pee. Pity.
  15. I would classify my crimes as crimes of passion. It wouldn’t cut it with a judge but I try to avoid them.
  16. Maybe that’s why I tend to bypass the Village these days on my frequent trips to Montreal. I’m trying to live down my criminal past.
  17. With our climate in eastern Canada, what an escort looks like when he arrives at my hotel depends on the season. In winter he will be wearing a warm overcoat or jacket and heavy boots. Just like any other citizen. I meet them in the lobby and they will usually have a hat on as well so if meeting for the first time all I see is a smiling face, which is really nice. On the ride up the elevator, I am left to imagine what delights await me in my room. In summer they show up dressed for the warm weather so I see a lot more of the body contour and features. I am usually not disappointed. Most of the guys wear outfits that compliment their physiques. The reveal in my room is less of surprise except of course when the briefs come off.
  18. I also remember the Manhattan of the 1970's and it was sleezy in many parts now gentrified. Dangerous too but for a Canadian visiting the sleeze and danger added a frisson or alure. Montréal is not dangerous in the way American cities were or are and has many neighbourhoods where you will not see a single panhandler or drug addict walking the streets. I was there just yesterday seeing an escort in his neighbourhood quite far from the Village and we went out afterwards for a drink and some dinner. Totally laid back and charming place with friendly people enjoying themselves on a rooftop terrace of a pub in the glorious August weather. And walking there and back about 15 minutes each way I felt as safe as in my own small town.
  19. Here in Eastern Ontario we were blessed in the early 19th century with the building of the Rideau Canal, at the time an undertaking like the Erie Canal. All these Irish stonemasons were imported to make the locks and afterwards stayed in Canada to build houses all over the region. These houses are now approaching 200 years old and have stood the test of time.
  20. Well if you want to book with someone else, the timeframe may become an issue. I hire every month multiple times and I never try to book a half year in advance. Many providers simply won't agree to tying up their time when so many variables can happen in the interval. But good luck.
  21. I was somewhat struck by the fact you are trying to arrange a three day date in January 2024. Now. I guess there are people who make their plans far in advance. To each his own. But from the other side, I can understand someone not willing to commit to something so far in advance. Even when I have arranged to fly someone to me from another country, it has only been in a two month timeframe. Life is too unpredictable to make plans so far out in these kinds of situations. Imo.
  22. Interesting that the replacement condo, while about the same size and height of the original that collapsed, will have less than half the number of units. The new structure will have units from 4000 to 15,000 sq. ft. While the market value of the average unit that disappeared was about $850,000, one imagines the new ones will be priced in the 7 to 8 figure range. Those displaced will not be moving in, one asumes. And so another bit of Florida is reserved for the super rich.
  23. I would have said 40 before I saw any of the comments. Never heard of him tho before this thread.

Gee Billings Montana is where Hemingway used to go to shoot wild game. What a hotbed of wild animals!
  25. Using the link above I logged out of RM and then was able to see KevenLeblanc's ad. Otherwise I was blocked still. A mystery as I have never met him or even tried to contact him. The only thing I can say is he should change the first line of his ad which states "I am a young cute boy"? Lol He's been on RM since 2016 and it doesn't get any older than that. If he is truly 27, he must have started escorting in his teens. Which actually is not all that unusual in Montreal. Since I am from there I have met escorts now in the late 20's who have told me they started at 16. And years ago I met others in similar circumstances who had started even earlier. Of course today anyone engaging their services then would be criminally liable. Me I prefer experienced mature escorts generally older than 25 and usually 35 or even older.
