Well the US just announced the land border will remain closed to Canadians until at least Aug 21, except for essential travel. I think this is going to infuriate many Canadians since we now have a better handle on vaccination rates and cases of infections than the US

Any lawyers out here who can tell me what this means (LGBT scholarship fund)?

My post was not political in content: rather it was discussing legal concepts. -
I am all for trying to find homes for unwanted dogs but not at the cost of delivering a dog into a household where it will be abused and lead a miserable existence. Just as some people should not have children, some should not be allowed anywhere near a dog.

That includes Justin Trudeau and his wife, who got the AstraZeneca vaccine.

I would consult a lawyer that specializes in trusts and estate planning. They would be familiar with gifts of this kind to institutions such as universities. I personally think making gifts to benefit specific classes of individuals in perpetuity does pose the problem that either the class at some point will no longer be socially relevant (eg. chimney sweeps in Victorian England) or the institution will no longer be serving the class you designate, for whatever reason that cannot be anticipated today (eg. America becomes a theocracy and outlaws homosexuality). Can't happen? Look at Iran. Perpetuity is an awful long time. -
Yes, Happy Birthday. Hope you had someone to celebrate it with.

Who's the attraction in Van? Curious minds want to know.😊

I lived in only one gayborhood which was Montreal's Le Village from 1998 to 2010. It was at its peak and has gone downhill since then but still is active. When I moved there I thought I would stay for the rest of my life but I didn't and have no regrets. I can visit when I want to ( altho that wasn't the case the last year and a half) and I prefer living in a small town now with its own pleasures and attractions.

As a foreigner who has only been to PS twice, I always refer to the whole area as Palm Springs. Just like I refer to Toronto as such and don't bother mentioning all the suburbs with their own city council like Mississauga, Brampton, etc.

You mean you wrecked the neighborhood.😃

Could be that but the way the Delta variant is pushing up the cases in the US in a fairly exponential way, it won't be long before there will be calls to block travel between Canada and the US again. Canada announced yesterday it is extending the ban on India, where the Delta originated. It will depend to some extent I think on whether vaccination rates continue to climb to over 80 percent coverage. One thing we have never got an effective handle on is contact tracing and with it being acknowledged that asymptomatic persons can transmit the disease, at least in Canada, if we do not have herd immunity through vaccines, public health authorities will want to limit travel, at least to those who are thoroughly tested.

One odd thing about Trudeau's announcement is that the opening is not reciprocal, at least for now. And Biden's Press Secretary said this is not an issue for reciprocating. Now there has always been an asymmetrical approach in the border closure. For instance Canadians could always fly to the US but only essential people could fly in to Canada. Now what is happening is that Americans who are fully vaccinated will be able to fly or drive to Canada in a short time but Canadians will still not be able to drive to the States. Very odd. I don't think Canadians will stand for it for too long.

Thanks for this explanation of how the system works and about some of the glitches. Whenever something goes wrong I immediately assume it is me or my computer that is causing the problem, as I am not all that tech savvy. Nice to know sometimes the source of the problem lies elsewhere. and someone else's concern. Thanks for your good work ,as always.

Your very brief statement that "they seem like caring people" I suppose summarizes a discussion you had with them about what their experience was with dogs, particularly large dogs, what kind of home they had to offer(eg would he have a yard) and the level of commitment they would have on a daily basis to walk the dog, play with it, etc. I am sure you would have confirmed these things before handing him off even though he was not your dog, just a dog that dropped in your lap. I don't envy the position you were put in by the uncaring actions of someone else. I know I react strongly to such behaviour because I believe all our domestic pets are sentient beings and have emotions just like us.

I've never been to an Alegria event in NYC. Any tips?
Luv2play replied to MeatHead's topic in The Lounge
For those of us beyond the pale, what exactly is an Alegria event? -
Looks like you were lucky with the weather.

My I-,pad or phone couldn't handle it either. My laptop could.

I hope there is more going on than a circle jerk. I liked the blow jobs though, especially the bald headed guy in the foreground who had a nice cum shot

I get where you are coming from. I've had decades too many I would admit to, giving head. It takes practice and even today, given the drought caused by Covid in the last year and a half, it took a little practice to deep throat again. But it came back. Like riding a bike, I would say. Lol.

I'm a bit jaded as the escort I saw today was easily 8X6 with the margin of error on the upside. I will be seeing him again. He gave my tonsils a good massage.

Could be. It just doesn't look girthy to me. The girthy ones when even soft appear thicker. Again, just sayin.

The top sitting down doesn't look that hung to me. Just saying...

I was just walking my dog and recalled that my brother told me the other day that our cousin had lost her dog two weeks ago and got a new one 5 days later from the States. I believe it is an English Bull Mastiff and very large. Her previous dog weighed 150 pounds and the one before that as well. She went to the US border point south of Montreal to pick him up. I think she found him over the Internet.

How's the weather as I see this venue has a large outside component. Here in Eastern Canada we are getting rain all weekend so such a gathering wouldn't work so well outside. I took my cue from the weather and hired an escort this afternoon for an indoor frolic at his place. Major hung and major fun.
