I was happy to end the massage because all I could think about was how lazy and bad it was. I said I wasn’t paying for the full hour since he didn’t give me full hour. I’m sure he would have stopped 30 minutes in even if I had paid ahead of time. Zero personality, zero sensuality, zero interaction. Zero stars  
By the way, do we all agree that asking for payment up front is a huge red flag!? I think every time a guy has asked, it ends up being a terrible massage. 

I coordinated to schedule an appointment with Erik and confirmed a time. While the exchanges were professional and prompt, there were some lines of questioning where I felt I needed to disclose that I was a non-white man. I’m glad I did because his response was cancelling the appointment with the reason provided being my race. Not even kidding.  This was honestly humiliating but have to take it directly I guess. He could have made up *anything* else but didn’t. So take that as you wish.
I hope people will check this thread to save themselves the embarrassment. :-/

What is happening in this thread lol?

I finally saw Tan here in northern California, which he visits often. He's based in NYC. 
His technique is superb and very focused. It's a deep tissue massage on a table with plenty of stretching. He spends a lot of time on the table over you for better access. As @sterling724 mentioned, Tan's smile is beautiful and genuine (perfect teeth too!). And he's very comfortable in his tall dancer's body, performing in either tight boxer briefs or nude.
I hope that New Yorkers will run to make appointments with Tan. Although he lives in Brooklyn, he's accustomed to outcalls to Manhattan and elsewhere -- bringing not his table but a headrest attachment for working on a bed.
Last but not least, he's really attuned to music and has an excellent curated playlist of nontypical massage music. 🎼🎵🎶

I saw Remi about a month or so ago. his set up was still the same as the most recent poster described (in his room, with roommates, etc) — it felt pretty private and secure to me still so I didn’t mind that too much. 
 
I thought he was super personable (a bit chatty which I don’t mind every now and then) and gave the massage nude. he’s Hung with a capital H and that made for a nice interaction and release in the end. if I were visiting san diego again, good chance i’d see him again if I wasn’t very into other options.

Ended up seeing Remi at his location a few months back for a massage. At the time, he was living in a rougher neighborhood and with roommates. Set up was in his room on a bed. He’s a smaller framed guy but has some decent touch skills. Really makes an effort.  Session towards the end got pretty heavy and an upgrade was offered, which I ended up taking.  Had a pretty good time but currently don’t have a desire to repeat anytime soon. Just my three cents! 

I think I understand why masseurs want me to come back.  I had no idea what was expected, and still fairly new at this, and apparently WAY overtipping.
