My thoughts are
 
1. If a therapist has inconsistent reviews with a 5+ sample size, then the experience is likely inconsistent and very YMMV. 
2. If a therapist is consistently highly recommended, then you’re more than likely going to consistently get a great experience from them. There are some therapist reviews with a lot of high marks from folks here. 
 
3. If a therapist is consistently receiving negative reviews, that is up to them to take that and make a better experience. 
 
I actually find the uncensored reviews here have been more helpful than Mf or RM reviews. 95% of the time when that a chance on a therapist providing an inconsistent experience, it’s usually what I get.

Cody is frustratingly good.  He gives a great therapeutic massage.  He is handsome and fit.  The entire session you wanting more from him.  You’re waiting for the inadvertent brush of the hand, a suggestive touch, an intentional press against your hand.  But alas, none of that materializes.  Just a good therapeutic massage.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Frustratingly good.

I had the same experience as WAANFI, Mike is really a nice guy and knows what he is doing. I did the 60 min which was a thorough massage from the neck down. He uses a lot of forearms and long strokes which felt awesome. Mike has excellent hands and technique. I hope he returns soon.

Gave him a try. His technique is similar to lomi lomi with long oily strokes. I enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back. He was shirtless when we started, so no apron to be found. Left happy, YMMV.

Suggest we avoid ageism unless with respect to this and other massage providers in the absence of evidence that age amounts to misrepresentation by the provider. I'm suggesting that if YourMasageDay's pics are accurate and his stats are otherwise truthful, his stated age is relatively unimportant.
