The first two books in the series were delivered to my doorstep yesterday. I won't read any of the later books because I want to experience the second season spoiler free like I did the first. I opened Heated Rivalry to a random page just to preview the layout & writing style. I can't say whether it's the case this winter, but last year (Dec. 2024) I met a dancer at Johnsons Ft. Lauderdale who said he was from Montreal. He told me he comes down for the winter & makes enough money that he didn't have to work once he returns home. I didn't really believe him at the time and still don't. But then, what would be the reason for a lie like that to someone he'd just met?

I was there last Sat. night & it was a pretty light crowd, which I expected two days after Christmas. Most of my favorite dancers were there, so I still had a good time. Going again this Sat. so I'll see how it goes. I'll keep at it as long as the club is there.

Maybe next time she's expecting, she should stay off-air?? (Or maybe the editor needs to preview headlines before printing?)
