  1. That's what I thought, and it may be true but I've stayed at a couple of places lately that had a tip envelope on the nightstand or table, with a note explaining its purpose along with the name of the housekeeper. Not sure how that works, but I've left the tip in the envelope as I departed.
  2. I've hung out with a friend or two on occasion, but I prefer to go solo. For me personally, I like to be on my own. I go specifically for the dancers, so I don't want to feel like I'm deserting a friend when I engage in extended, um conversation, yeah conversation with a dancer or if I take off for a lap dance or three. Usually friends don't seem to care, but I did have one that said I was rude by ignoring him when a hot dancer came by to hang out. (Update, I don't hang out with that friend in the clubs anymore.) It depends on your priorities when you go out. If you want someone to hang out with & talk to in between tips & lap dances, go with a friend. That's just not what I'm going to those clubs for.

  4. I'd like to thank Merriam-Webster for teaching me the meaning of the word "plethora". It really means a lot.
  5. Yesterday I started reading an article on Yahoo News. The first sentence was: Grant Cardone is less than pleased with the ruling against former Donald Trump, in which Trump has been ordered to pay $355 million in penalties plus interest. Now as a retired teacher, it really irritates me when an article gets published (yes, even on an internet news site) with such a glaring mistake. I stopped reading & went right to the comments. I typed this: Wed 21 Feb 2024 11:32:37 PM Is the first sentence for real?? Where do they find writers like this and who the heck is responsible for editing or reviewing before publishing?? It says "former Donald Trump" like the man has changed his name. What the actual heck???? Oh wait, is he like the artist formerly known as Prince? "Grant Cardone is less than pleased with the ruling against former Donald Trump, in which Trump has been ordered to pay $355 million in penalties plus interest." A few minutes later I received a notice: Your comment has been approved and published This morning I woke to find this in my email: Your comment on "Grant Cardone to Team: "Immediately Discontinue All Underwriting on New York City Real Estate"" violates the community guidelines and has been rejected I went back to the original article, which of course now reads: Grant Cardone is less than pleased with the ruling against former President Donald Trump, in which Trump has been ordered to pay $355 million in penalties plus interest. 🙄
