That's what I found so much fun about the show. The people you'd least expect to see making these elaborate concoctions are often the most accomplished. Building houses during the day and whipping up a chocolate mousse in the evening.

I came a little late to the game. Story of my life. However I just binge watched 3 seasons of The Great British Baking Show and loved every minute. Never would have thought baking could be that exciting. Well, maybe exciting is a bit of an overstatement. Have tried to get friends interested and I just get funny looks. Okay, it's not Game of Thrones but still .....

Saw it years ago with Carol Channing. I can pass on this revival especially for what's being charged for tickets. If I need to see Bette I'll go watch Beaches.

I second this recommendation. A wonderful show. On what was probably the worst day in American history the citizens of Gander proved there is still hope and goodness in people.

Since the Rubin was mentioned a few times do you know the building used to be Barneys before they opened the big store uptown? They kept the original staircase and turned it into a very serene museum experience. Very few people go there I assume because the collection has a very specific collection of Himalayan art all collected by one very wealthy couple.

Recently re-visited the Getty Villa in Malibu. Feels like a movie set for all those swords and sandals flicks. Beautifully done and nice collection of ancient art.

Okay and the new Whitney in NYC is great for its views and if the weather permits you can walk the High Line down from 34th Street. Makes for a good day. The Whitney has a nice restaurant also. And if you like museum dining Robert, the restaurant on the top floor of the Museum of Arts and Design on Columbus Circle in NYC is quite good and has spectacular views of Central Park.

I too am a museum junkie. Now that I'm in LA I've been hitting the major art museums. I really liked the Broad Museum and its free which is very nice. Also I'm very fond of the Brooklyn Museum which is often overlooked by tourists. On a spring day it's very nice to combine a visit with the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens which are really lovely.

There are so many incredible actors of a certain age this series could really keep busy and add lots of fun to the plot. I hope it keeps going for that reason alone. Dolly would be amazing.

Seems to be getting not so great reviews but all agree the casting is great.

So far this new show with Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston has real potential. Very funny first episode. I hope it continues.

I saw a poster in Sydney for a show called Legends that he's doing with Hayley Mills and Juliet Mills so he's still working it.

I love to swim in pools and the ocean. For me comfort of movement in the water is more important than looks. So a few years ago I bought myself a pair of loose fitting bathing trunks and cut out all the support stuff inside. So it's like swimming naked. I love speedos for those that look good in them regardless of age but look honestly in a mirror before you wear them in public.

I saw the play with Michael Urie and he was terrific. At the end of the show there was a collection for Broadway Cares. Urie brought his understudy up on stage and they had a little interaction. The guy whose name I don't remember but am guessing may be taking over was really cute and seemed charming. When I was leaving the theater he was holding the collection basket and I told him how much I loved his performance and we both laughed.

I saw the show yesterday and everything positive in the reviews is all true. Ben Platt is simply amazing and will tear your heart out with his singing. I swear he was crying during one of the many emotional numbers. Considering he's been doing this part for quite a while it's astounding he can maintain that level of intensity 8 times a week. I can't imagine him not winning the Tony. I don't think I've seen any other performance this season that matches Ben's. I'm sure at some point he'll be moving on to another show so I'd encourage everyone to see the show with Ben if possible.
