Pretty people have more perks than mere mortals. Their looks and sexual charms probably opened up many doors for them. If they meet the right people, they probably have access to these places.. I don't think they pay in cash for the luxury places themselves, I'm sure their admirers do or those who have experienced their charms. My friend's girlfriend (julliard trained, columbia postgrad) was an escort and she had many finance guys treat her like a mistress and she stayed in the nicest hotels, flew to LA for spa treatments or shopping trips to Paris and had a maisonette at her disposal (she told me it was her "friends") on the upper east side. When we went to Barney's she would buy anything she liked without thinking twice. Very nice girl from humble background but she definitely knew how to enjoy life. She settled for one of her uglier regulars who had a small 2 bedroom on Madison Ave... must be love because she could have done much better.

I'm sure somewhere there is a market for FinDom bottoms that don't kiss

Unless the information is volunteered, I've learned not to ask questions if I can't be part of the solution.

It sounds a little bit like “bro” speak.

I have friends who just keep their condo in nyc just to visit from San Fran for Broadway shows. They love the theater so much.

The NYT posted a link to tonight’s show (streaming from the 2019 concert) at Trinity Church Wallstreet: https://www.trinitywallstreet.org/music-arts/2019-2020/messiah According to Trinity’s website: Trinity presented one of the first performances in North America in 1770, and The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and Trinity Baroque Orchestra are still widely regarded as some of the greatest interpreters of the work. In 2018, The New York Times described Trinity’s presentation as “perhaps the essential New York ‘Messiah.’ With the church’s choir and the Trinity Baroque Orchestra, Mr. Wachner provides gritty, gutsy, edge-of-the-seat performances.”

He certainly writes a very hot enticing ad... definitely someone i'd meet if he were in nyc and once the pandemic is over.

Agree with others about the use of the word "scort"... is it common terminology? Is that word used to skirt censorship??? I mean we are talking about compensated companionship on this message board aren't we? Hasn't everyone seen Pretty Woman? That turned out well didn't it??? lol.

Agree. The desserts are amazing and if you can get a seat by the window even better. The same chef also runs Wallse, a charming Viennese restaurant in the west village. Had New Years dinner there last year.

I would have enjoyed visiting it then and perhaps become the target of some kompromat involving some sexy russian military officer. Would love a honeypot trap...lol.

The private tour of the Hermitage I took allowed us unfettered access before it opened to the public. Was quite a treat. If you went on a cruise, how would you invite those cute SPB guys onboard? lol. For me, I'd love to visit it again and explore a bit more Though I'd probably need to learn some Russian first.

Maybe if you identify a provider you like, you can ask him as he might have a preferred venue that he knows of or can host..

I heard deBlasio is planning to close restaurants (beyond the 10 pm closing). Haven't been to a restaurant in ages.... only takeout. Feel bad for those in that industry these days. Nothing really fun to do.

A few years ago, i went on a private tour of the Hermitage with 20 classmates on a reunion cruise/trip. Wlonderful seeing those treasures up close and unrushed. Highly recommend to those who love art.

Has anyone mentioned the Borghese villa? That is such a gem;)!

Great history. Thanks for sharing. Lots of valuable chinese art picked up for pennies in the 1930s. Now those prices are out of reach. My friend's dad went with Nixon to china and picked up some lovely paintings and sculptures that were offered him by antique runners who would solicit foreigners for American dollars in exchange for their cultural relics. Wonder what they are worth now.

Laurence Sickman was a big proponent for Chinese art in Kansas. Some of his antique pieces came up for sale a few years ago I believe.

Is it the same as Jew vs Jewish? I always use the adjective rather than the noun as it seems a little more polite. I have many jewish friends and colleagues and they prefer to use the adjective. You'd think by now that I'd know the answer but i am not clear on this either.

How does it compare to the pandemic lockdown???

Polish cheese is good too... though I prefer manchego

Deliveries are brought up by the doorman... Would love a hot UPS driver though

I'm on my condo's board and i have to set a good example by not having gentleman callers over and wearing face mask in the common areas of the building. Shame carries a great deal of weight in decision making during risky conditions.

I meant to say “once the pandemic is over, of course”.... lol. I‘m such a hermit these days and surviving on virtual sex...lol.
