I also hate the term "celebrity chef". I love eating at great restaurants but honestly, i've had great meals in hole in the walls too. Many celebrity chefs are always too busy opening up a new location or writing a cookbook to even be cooking. Unless you are dining at a chef's table, meals are probably prepared by line cooks following a formula and plating it according to a photo.

It's sad for all the athletes who've trained so hard and I feel bad for Japan, the host country.

I cringe whenever I hear "on point"

I had a big crush on Ted McKee and Vincent Irizarry from Santa Barbara. They were so hot in their prime !!

The bartenders are really lust-worthy hunks!

I spent 150$ for a 5 minute online show.. that was the worst and awkward 5 minutes of my life. It was with an escort I was chatting with and he offered an online show. It was such a dud...I can't believe I did that but it certainly killed my curiosity from spending more time with him. Ah well...lesson learned.

It seems there are a lot of interest in museums i just watched the film “My Rembrandt” which talks about the personal pursuit for his masterworks as well as competition between museums for Rembrandt’s extant pieces that rarely come to the market. https://filmforum.org/film/my-rembrandt

I remember visiting the Borghese villa. One would have to email/call for reservations. There was no online method to do so. Was truly a gem! Yes, the Uffizzi is fantastic - amazing Botticelli’s on the second floor.

For those into pottery, the Nezu museum in Tokyo and the Gulbenkian in Lisbon have wonderful Asian ceramics collection.

It is quite fun! I love the hands on experience. I took my god daughter there once and she enjoyed it. It’s a very easy trip from manhattan.

Have you visited Shangri-la in Honolulu. It’s the former Duke estate and part of the Honolulu Museum. Beautiful interiors and surroundings. Great Islamic art collection there too.

I hope I don’t repeat the excellent choices others have mentioned, but In NYC: I like the Frick, Rubin, Whitney in Manhattan. Noguchi museum in Queens is fantastic. The Storm King Center is also nice for it’s sculptures and a short jaunt from NYC. The Brandywine museum in is also worth checking out for its Wyeth collection.

There’s usually a Frette sample sale in manhattan once or twice a year.

My cats love Frette too... so much so that i have to “retire“ my nicer linens and use more practical yet comfortable ones like Calvin Klein or West Elm.

How much to pay for an online cam/chat session?
cany10011 replied to + barullo's topic in Questions About Hiring
I agree. It's quite easy to as they are quite alluring! These contests on flirt4(not)free are money sucking operations as they are always begging for money and tips. I was hooked on them for a few months during the early months of the pandemic... but many of them give their private numbers to call for facetime chats (and payment) as it cuts out the middle man. I'm chatting with a cute german twink and 2 polish guys right now. Their rates are much better than their flirt4free costs. -
Sex at 50, how is or was your sex life at 50 y/o
cany10011 replied to JamesMorris's topic in Men's Health
Though I do agree to an extent about getting bored... sometimes during quarantine I have to watch videos now and i'm searching weird things like older younger or uncle son, or chubby guys... that really gets me off. In the past none of that would do it for me. My belami subscription is stagnant now... though in real life, those are the types i like to hire. So, yeah. I am getting bored to an extent. But IRL hiring, i do go for the nice and fit, good looking guys. -

It‘s always fun sharing experiences.... !

Several of my friends, gay and straight, know that I engage in this hobby. A few are quite interested in it and always want to know all the details of my experiences. I feel it's good that I don't have to lie or hide it from them.

Vanguard for me too

Thought it might be good idea to start a thread on finances... after all they help support this hobby I'm overleveraged on banks and pharma right now. I am thinking of getting into Green Energy and Electric Vehicles. Bought PLUG last January around 3$ and now it is 32$.. thinking of cashing out. Just bought the shanghai electric vehicle producer, NIO. Looking forward to some interesting discussions. Anyone with other ideas? ETFs or stock recommendations for growth and dividends?

When I came to study in America, I used to think fuck was a bad word and never used it at work. I see colleagues nowadays don't mind interjecting it into daily conversations.
