I agree with you, Tarheel. I used to search the services section for "m4m" and, in a trick I don't see used anymore, it would bring up several ads that were not the type of ads you'd expect. For example, a contractor would include "m4m" in a list of words at the bottom of his post. What I didn't understand sometimes was when a normal looking ad would come up. That would force me to do a "find" for the term and, here's the 'trick' I'm referring to, all of those keywords were written in white font. So a white font against a white background doesn't appear unless you search the page using find. So anyone looking at the ad wouldn't see it, but if they did a specific search for that keyword, the ad would come up. I used to love looking for ads like that, but it stopped long before CL shut down the personals.

I love Rentmasseur and have always prefered it over Masseurfinder and MassageM4m. I like the fresh,clean layout.....I also like the Personal Interview they offer where the masseurs answer questions. This really helps you to get to know the masseur even before you hire them. They also are the only massage site to offer private photos. On top of all this,they are not out to gouge the masseurs to place an ad. When I checked their rates they are only $39.00 month for masseurs. Masseurfinder and MassageM4m average $250 per month to place an ad! They are a legit site, and I have hired about 10 masseurs over the past year and had no problems. What you're seeing here is dislike, disdain and even bitterness that this guy is living a great life and getting paid top-dollar to do so.
 
Some men are secure hiring escorts as long as it's strictly on their terms. But once that line is crossed, any loose thread will do in an attempt to completely unravel someone.
 
There's also a fair amount of rate shaming going on here. Much like wealth or success shaming, it's the calling card of the envious.

I believe the truth of the matter is that most of the well-reviewed escorts who have been in the business for a while are mature enough to handle (and I know a few who have) many kinds of special needs clients with special attention to their specific needs. I actually just asked Raul’s opinion about this and his response was that he would be happy to work with and for this man’s needs but that the more important question should be whether the special needs individual would be sexually attracted to a particular escort.
 
I think if you, bigjoey, know the type of man your friend is attracted to, you should call the well-reviewed escorts who are his type and ask them individually if they would be a good companion for your friend. It’s really not much different than checking with an escort on his sexual limits or scenes. Since you have some possibilities suggested by the astute posters here on this thread so far, you could start with any of them who happen to be your friend’s type. JMHO with a little input from RGM.

If I am understanding your communication correctly, you had many successful meetings with this individual with encounters often initiated by him. Then, you had a scheduled meeting in which he canceled 15 minutes prior and asked to reschedule. Now, you haven't heard from him since then. That makes me think something very ominous has happened with him. The short notice cancellation from someone with whom he'd had a seemingly good relationship reads like something very unexpected arose on his part... His suggestion to reschedule for the next day may have been just wishful thinking on his part is that this would not be a prolonged situation. I would be inclined to believe that it sounds health and/or legal-related.

Unlike your situation in which you have no idea what happened, my guy did indicate that he was not feeling well and thought he would be better the next day. The next day I didn't hear from him at all and texted to find out what had happened/if he was feeling better. I did not hear anything for about 48 hours when I then learned that he went to the doctor and was taken to the emergency room for appendicitis. He was in the hospital for two days and did not have a cell phone charger with him. He did contact me early on the third day to let me know he was recovering from surgery and will be willing to meet in about two weeks. W ended up meeting about three weeks later and it was wonderful. He apologized about 1000 times though I assured him it was unnecessary.
