I've found that certain HBP meds are definitely worse for the libido and the erection. My doc actually prescribed testosterone replacements (back when you saw those ads for androgel and axiron daily) to counteract the HBP meds he was putting me on. Side effect? I lost most of my hair, my hardons weren't that great, and libido never took an upswing. I've been off them for a couple years now, and its status quo so far. I have to say Lisinopril was the least damaging to the reproductive side but most damaging with that dry ticklish cough. Growing old is a b*tch!
