Tristan, you are what we Jews call a "mensch". You display integrity and empathy, two attributes that are in rare supply not only in your profession but in many others. Part of that integrity is your implicit recognition that many of us clients are emotionally vulnerable and that it's just indecent to take advantage of those vulnerabilities. It may be a business transaction, but simple decency and kindness distinguish people who are merely good at what they do from those who are, as people, good. I for one feel enriched by your presence, even if so far it's only via cyberspace for me. I hope one day to remedy that. -
I'm not throwing stones, nor has anyone else. You seem to have an agenda. You injected the issue of oral sex into the discussion as a means of suggesting hypocrisy on the part of people who choose not to have bareback anal sex. My view is we are each responsible for our own health, and to set the level of risk we are comfortable taking. If that includes having bareback sex that is up to the individual. What I choose to do or not do is for me to decide. In fact, when you say others "should look at their own actions about oral sex", you seem to be the own throwing stones. You don't need anyone else's validation for your own choices, and neither do any of us need yours. To the extent that you have provided useful information about the transmission of STDs, you are being helpful. So thank you for that.
-
That depends on whether you swallow, spit or do neither. As the BJ giver, you have greater control over what enters you orally than anally. Also, I doubt that oral transmission is as likely as anal transmission for a score of STDs, unless you have open sores in your mouth, bleeding gums, etc. But I'm not a physician.
-
Nope. HIV transmission is far more likely anally, and more likely for the bottom than the top.

PrEP is a boon to preventing the spread of HIV. It would be irresponsible for an escort to not protect himself by using PrEP. But as a client, you can never be certain about an escort's status, the meds he's taking, or whether he's following the protocol precisely and religiously. As a client, you CAN tell whether an escort is using a condom. Also, while other STI's are treatable, they can cause damage and if left untreated become severe. PrEP doesn't render condoms useless, and condoms don't render PrEP unnecessary.

Sean Xavier negative review 11/15/2019 and so far no reply.
former lurker replied to marylander1940's topic in The Deli
That was true during the HooBoy days, but I'm not sure it still works the same way. I seem to recall there were some replies posted subsequent to the review being posted. Of course, it's possible that the escort initially declined to reply and changed his mind. And there also seem to be more occasions where a negative review doesn't have a reply at all than used to be the case. Lots of possible reasons for that, I suppose. -
Well said. We had a phrase at the firm: "you bet your company" cases. Our clients brought us matters that were make or break, where their corporate existence was on the line. Those cases are worth every penny if won.

I was at one of the NYC big name firms, and while not a Partner, was in a senior position. Parners billed in the $900/hour range and I was billed at about $475.
-
You must have left legal practice quite a while ago. I haven't practiced in 7 years, and my rate was in the high 400s/hour. That's what the firm billed for my time.

I'm curious. His ad lists his location as Tel Aviv, so presumably he's moved back to Israel from the U.S. How many of those discussing him as a potential hire are in or planning to travel to Israel? Or is this just a bit of fun to discuss a hot looking guy and his past performance as a masseur?
-
I agree. There's also a subset of gay men in relationships who don't think of anal or oral intercourse as straying as it's a job but want to reserve kissing, which they perceive as more intimate, for their significant other.
-
Possibly. Or it could be that he has an older phone and there have updates to the network that don't work seamlessly with his device. Such "upgrades" are among the many ways the cell cos. get customers to upgrade devices and then to upgrade plans to take full use of the new device. Or his provider doesn't have great coverage in his region of Kentucky.

Always thought Matan was on of the hottest of Lucas's Israeli guys. Jonathon Agassi, too. Unfortunately, the Alencar-Shalav scene isn't new and not a sign that Shalav is back in porn.

Make an offer, and see if it's to his liking. Also, agree to meet in public. I'd be leery of a guy who doesn't have at least a minimum price.

411 on ValentinoXOXO - new guy in Vegas - possible Military?
former lurker replied to InterestingGuy's topic in The Deli
Based on personal experience with straight family and friends, as well as gay family and friends, orientation isn't correlated with an interest in arts and fashion. Visiting companions often genuinely enjoy the touristy and cultural stuff. They'd also probably enjoy spending time you've paid for doing anything. Many escorts consider learning new things from a diverse population of clients to be a rewarding part of their line of work. I don't see why that wouldn't extend to the arts, notable places and architecture, etc. It's also a great excuse for the client to take advantage of what's available. I, like most I suppose, tend not to take full advantage of things people travel to my area to enjoy. When I have a visitor, I take them and we both get something from it. -

No need for personal attacks. When you say stuff like that, you make yourself less credible. BN was merely stating, in a pithy way, what's taken as gospel by a large population on these boards -- RM "reviews" are not reliable, especially compared to reviews on the Daddy's site. My view is that you find and filter info where you can get it. If we are all talking about "financebro", I'd trust BN's insights. He has a broad swath of contacts, clients and providers both, who inform his comments. That said, sometimes a client and an escort just don't mesh, even if that same escort thrilled tons of other clients. My impression from alf's posts are that he has a certain type, is concerned about the cost of hiring, and isn't particularly comfortable with filtering the 40 score of escorts in Manhattan to find a match. He wanted a guy on short notice. All of that makes it difficult to find a guy and have it be the ideal situation. This one didn't work out. That happens. -
It's more the Turkish language than English. English has been a second language in Germany and its rail system since the end of WWII. Turkish is now the third most spoken language. I'd expect privatization of the rail system is responsible for some of the inefficiencies. Btw, agree on your Uber point. I don't expect a provider to include transportation costs in his hourly rate unless his is in walking distance or charging an above-market price.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. One man's "jerk" might be another's "alpha". Some people are all about fucking, others about kissing and cuddling. Some clients want one thing, and hire a guy who offers something else, then are upset they didn't get what they wanted. It's not like there's a rating agency. So will filter the information available. Like you, I'd put more stock in a host of reviews from apparently discernible clients than I would in one man's impression of a "jerk", especially when the "jerk" was willing to show up on virtually no notice to see a client he's never met before. I hope alf at least paid the guy's cab fare. -

I guess you'd call that and avocational hazard. -
My guess is that @dutchal did an image search and found the person the pics belong to on a social media site (IG, Twitter, etc.) and that the site showed where the person was and when.

Perhaps someone else can explain this better, but my understanding is the order of RM profiles is based on whether the escort paid an additional fee for higher placement (platinum membership) and how recently the escort has logged in to his RM account. If that's right, you're likely to have several pages of escorts who are not busy at the front of the que. As has been suggested, you can use the filters to alter the order of the profiles and to screen out profiles not to your liking. Love the Carly opening song, too. Btw, true story. Was at the White Horse Tavern in the village in the 1999-2001 timeframe with some friends from college. A female friend waits outside the restroom for about 10 minutes. Out walks Sigourney who leans in and says in my friends ear something like I just gave birth to an Alien in there". -

Unless I'm misreading something, the OP had a room hotel room in lower Manhattan last night and wanted suggestions for escorts in real time, sort of using the forum as a quasi-agency to identify a guy that suited his interests. But perhaps he, or others residing in or visiting NYC will benefit from your suggestion. -

No need to take my comments so personally. I was making a broader observation about what is common practice on these boards, not singling you out at all. By all means, ask. If your question produces the info you seek, great. If it doesn't, the ball is in your court as to what you want to do. My comments were prompted by observations of others in the thread with which I agreed. My additional observation about there being a time to decide based on the info already available was not about you at all. It's just an observation that beyond a certain point, further information is unlikely to surface in response to additional requests. I am sorry if I offended you. That was not my intent. -
Not as simple a question as you might expect. In general, NDA's are enforceable/binding if they are limited in scope and time or the info disclosures are of protected information (trade secrets and the like). In some cases, reputation and image are protected by an NDA and are enforceable (think Hollywood stars, etc.) But NDA's are not enforceable to shield someone from prosecution for criminal activity, although the courts try to limit distribution of the information to those who need to know it to bring the prosecution to fruition.

Rereading his ad and the posts here, I'm wondering where the question about signing an NDA arose.
