This line is usually used by straight men to make themselves feel better about rejection by attractive women. What they leave out is that the hypothetical guy who is tired of the hot woman, if he exists at all, is likely far more desirable than they will ever be.

TBL28, you've mentioned that your type is twinky, borderline aneroxic, masculine guys between 18-20. Isn't that particular combination pretty rare?. Most skinny 18 y.o. guys who see themselves as masculine don't want to look anorexic; they're interested in building up some muscle. The exception would be nerdy guys who aren’t focused on their looks at all, but you probably wouldn't find them in strip clubs. (BTW, if you want a Nordic type too, that reduces your numbers even further.) I think you're right that grindr is a better way to go.

This happened to me as well. Unlike Gman's guy, he never talks about his own experiences, but he keeps trying to get me to talk about what I think of him. Short answer: Yes. Be careful before choosing a male model type as your MD--any kind of MD. Sure, attraction livens up the sessions, but it feels weird to pay hundreds of dollars an hour for the privilege of having a crush. It feels doubly weird to witness a parade of (mostly male) clients who may be there for the same reason. (I don't know his orientation, but if I had to guess, I'd say he's straight.)

Same here. My always-low iron is even lower now (ferritin=5, desirable level is 50), so my sleep is pretty disrupted. Oral iron supplementation hasn't worked so I may have to bite the bullet and try IV. I'm often tired after sleeping 9+ hours.

Women do care a great deal about their partners' attraction to them, far more so than men. But that doesn't mean that men don't care about it at all. Take a look at the straight sex tourist sites; even the guys who admit that they are conventionally unattractive spend a lot of time trying to convince others that the escorts they've hired are hot for them. ("I gave that girl her first orgasm!") That's one of the reasons men brag about getting it for free. They think it means they're more attractive than the next punter.

There's a certain type of man who is so innately dominant that he doesn't need to plan every move in advance. Also, there's no need for whips and chains and so on.

I know exactly what you mean, but I disagree that such men are necessarily blue collar. Unfortunately, what I call "organic dominance" can quickly become attempted rape if you're not careful.
