I was introduced to sex at a young age by a family friend. Mostly consensual. The first time someone paid me, I was in high school. I hadn’t asked for money, but he insisted I take it. This was after he finished in me. I think he felt guilty, even though I kept telling him it was ok and that I had wanted it. After that, I figured it would be a good way to make some money on the side and save for school. I also found it kind of flattering that men liked me that much that they would pay.

I think sometimes this idea of having a “choice” is an illusion. It takes money to get ahead in life, and there aren’t always great options when you’re younger if you don’t have the economic resources. I started selling myself when I was younger to help pay for school, and I felt like I needed to take those risks to get ahead.

You can ask for a package deal ahead of time with the dancer so that these kinds of things don’t happen
