411 on Anthonymassages and the skill of honesty
d.anders replied to Brady's topic in Spas & Masseurs
None of the photos look like a 32-year-old body to me. Age scraping is such a white lie. If he's great at massage, I fail to see any benefit of depriving yourself of his talent. I get the disappointment, though. However, a lot of men can't face the truth of their age. Much like women, they lie. It's just a fact of life, and it has nothing to do with their skill or ability to be sexy/sensual. If you book with the guy, and you see in-person his face/neck/hands look 60, then you can ask him why he lies. He'll probably say it seduces customers into booking. Maybe you can explain how extreme the lie is, and he'd be better off upping the number to 42. -
That's a remarkable stat. Almost makes me feel better about the world. For what it's worth, I would never criticize the work of a massage therapist to his face, especially for a first time appointment. If a therapist asked me for immediate feedback after the massage was completed, I would offer nothing but praise, and keep my honest thoughts to myself. If I wasn't happy with the massage, I would not book again. IME, it is never a good idea to criticize a stranger in the service business. Many people can't handle criticism. Why put yourself at risk, and potentially cause a very uncomfortable disruption? IMO, no one can please everyone. Some customers aren't worth the trouble. Better to just let them go. I think it's very unfair to write a negative review based on one visit. I would never do it.

Nick is hot, and what a great deal at €150.
-
His ad says he's certified. I wouldn't mind communicating with him, but he says "text only." Moving on.
-
The photo in his white underwear is enough for me. Not sure what a guy could do with that while receiving a massage. I go to massage to relax, not to work. Raf seems to stress in his ad his need for "good energy" customers. I wonder what that means? Who are the bad energy customers he wants to avoid, and how does he define bad energy?

I don't know what pearl clutching is. I'm an old guy, and I don't wear jewelry. I'm not the one who wrote OMG, and nor did I use 3 !!! after the word illegal. I was simply stating a fact. Some guys here talk about "tipping" as if they are dining at Luger's. Some guys talk about Asian-owned men's spas as if they're visiting a Four Seasons Hotel. It's silly, and naive.

Wow. That could cost the price of massage these days. I looked at his photos over at MF, and something seems a bit off. Not only are the photos very poor quality, but the tattoo one is a downer. He doesn't even look well. I decided to take a pass.
-
He's also got a beautiful erection, judging by the porn I searched. I suspect he's bi, but why all the negative massage reviews? It's too bad. If the guy was super cool and talented, he could sweep up in the gay community, and make a fortune.

First time seeing his ad. I think he's hot. Great smile. Those prices are a bit steep for me, especially since I'm not looking for anything sexual. I still may have to contact him to ask a few questions.

Most are younger guys, but not all. In social media, he seems to be very honest about his personal type, and the things that turn him on. But he doesn't require his type to do the work. He seems to like tight, hairless chests, and lots of nipple play. Many handsome, hairless Asians in the mix. I'm sure he's pointed and focused on how he markets himself. Plenty of details without going overboard. If he visited nyc, I would see him. An edging experience by a professional who loves this work is a mind-blowing experience. I also believe it's quite healthy for the body and soul.

Joel seems like an expert at tantric. He's no simple rub-and-tug, time-waster. This guy takes his work quite seriously, and he's been doing it a long time. Regarding price, $300 a session seems fair to me (even though it seems he is charging less). Edging someone properly requires a lot of concentration work. I've done it several times. Most of the men in his photos/videos appear to be fit and quite good looking. I imagine a large percentage of his clientele consists of average or below average guys. It's great that he doesn't require a photo to secure service, but imagine doing 5-6 tantric sessions a day with men you don't find sexy or attractive. It's possible he's the consummate professional, and never lets anyone feel insecure or under-appreciated. I love giving sexy guys a great hand job, but if this were my job and I was super-good at it, I would need money and a lot of it to motivate me to give my all each time. This work is not a traditional massage.

I don't mind an education. I wrongly assumed Mannu's heritage without fully reading his ad. The name Mannu struck me as Indian origin, not Spanish. From the ad photos, he looked exactly like the Indian guys I watch on massage videos produced in India. I was quite surprised to learn he identifies as Cuban. I've never met a Cuban named Mannu. As for "Abhyanga" massage, I learned the term from several YouTube travel creators, and they described the massage in the manner I wrote about. I'm not at all trying to suggest that I am an authority on massage in India, since watching these massage videos, produced in India, is a new experience for me.

There's a bounty on beauty. I always knew it. Certainly everyone outside the U.S. agrees. In some countries, we are hated for it. Now that I am retired, I can barely afford the service. When I turned 60, I started to ask self-employed masseurs if tipping was required. If they said yes, then I would not book and move on. I'm not a HE customer, and I make that clear, but I do want the guy to be naked. I don't touch him (unless he asks), so no extra work required. If he has a great reputation for skill, then I often let go of the naked preference. Luckily, most massage guys enjoy working with no clothes. As for looks, my meter is generous. Model types and pumped-muscle guys generally intimidate me. Back in the 80's, I once had a private conversation with a hairdresser who worked at Vidal Sassoon on 5th Ave. He told me he just got a raise, from 20% to 25%. I was stunned. The guy had been working there for years. Most people don't freely talk about their paycheck. I think a lot of people would be shocked to learn what service people actually make when working for a corporation or an independent employer.

No, he's not saying that. My words were deleted, so everyone is left to wonder WTF. This board is weird. -
I usually ask 3 questions, and all three answers are very important to me. If I get a response with only 1 question answered, I move on. I don't have time for service people who play hard-to-get. Instant turn-off. Imagine how busy this guy would be if he had a customer-focused personality (enjoying his life and eager to please). A mediocre massage would not even matter. Imagine if he actually had strong talent as a masseur. He'd be booked solid for months. I'm guessing this is a provider who is OK with the occasional hookup.

Mauricio and Giovanni are both hot, IMO. I love Mauricio's RM armpit photos. I wonder if he's into a little pit worship?

The video clips at the link are fun to watch. Thanks.

It's amazing to me how many guys leave questions unanswered. I ask three specific questions, nothing to do with sex, and often, I'll get a reply back with only one answer. I don't get it. If you can't (or won't) tell me what kind of massage cream you use, then I move on. I stopped repeating my unanswered questions long ago. It gets too tiring. I move on fairly quickly. Too many not-serious people out there. -
Some guys just enjoy making us laugh. 😇 Not so obvious to me.

That thought never occurred to me. My knowledge and experience with the tool has never been sexual, only therapeutic. I would never use this tool near my genitals.
-
I own the Hypervolt. I view it as a life saver. I have specific needs for it. Proper use does require a small amount of training. If I saw the tool in a masseur ad, I would be impressed. It's an investment that most amateurs are not going to make. I would be curious to know if the provider knows how to use it properly. I would welcome the tool in my massage experience, if the provider knows what he is doing. IMO, the tool reaches areas and provides therapy like no other. There are lots of Youtube videos on these tools. I can't live a quality life without mine.

It would be foolish to expect it, but it sure is nice when the masseur jumps on it for the sheer pleasure. I was thinking the same thing. One guy I had many years ago did a superb massage. Soon after he rolled me over, he positioned himself into 69 and swallowed me whole. That was a surprise sight and feeling I have never forgotten. Soon after that, he sat on me in a squat. I remember marveling at his leg muscles. The guy is long gone from NYC. Haven't had anyone like him since.

My comment was poorly worded. I'm not looking for historical facts at every turn, but I do enjoy period pieces based on some elements of truth. Downton often referred to historical events that actually happened, and I enjoyed that.

Sorry, I did not know that mentioning someone's reputation in NYC might be considered a "political opinion." -
I thought the movie was pretty bad. I had to watch it twice to be sure. It's a rip-off version of Talented Mr. Ripley, and Ripley is a masterpiece of gay sociopath/psychopath by comparison. There are so many things wrong with Saltburn, it's hard to know where to begin. Someone said it's trying too hard, and that is an understatement. All show and no substance. I hated that Keoghan and Elordi barely had an on-screen relationship. They are hardly seen together. Any obsession made no sense. The house exterior is the star, and it seems that's all that is required post-Downton. Rosamond Pike and Richard Grant were fun. So is a surprising Carey Mulligan. The sex scenes with Alison Oliver grossed me out. Archie was a fun gay to hate. But the story? Preposterous. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Emerald Fennell, director of Saltburn, played Camilla Parker Bowles in Season 3 and 4 of The Crown. IMO, she should stick to acting. I did enjoy the ending nude scene. Who hasn't danced naked in his home? Not sure what to say about Barry's uncut cock. Sort of looks like his face at times. When I was younger, I had a problem with too much extended foreskin. Now, I guess, it just depends on the scent. 😄
