'Diddy' : If you suck it right, I'll help your career...
d.anders replied to Ali Gator's topic in The Lounge
Sorry. If it wasn't an employment scenario, and the photographer was just there as a guest and solicited by chance, then it's difficult to see how any case could be made. But who knows how it affects the Diddy case? It all seems like more ammunition to me. -

If someone powerful made a business agreement for sex, and that person backed out for whatever subjective reason, why not sue? I'm not a lawyer, but I will never take the bully's side in these situations. I always feel sorry for the workers who have to endure this shit, whether they choose to oblige or not. -

The differences are obvious. However, it still comes down to someone in power, either by employment status or money or both, subjecting an employee or co-worker to perform sex for business gain. -

I've read about several female model lawsuits involving famous straight photographers in a similar situation. Even though they did the deed, they won their lawsuits, or at least got a settlement. I'm not a lawyer, and I don't know the changes around #metoo or sex in the workplace. Maybe it pays to file anyway. Not so simple if you have bills and debt up to your ass. -
It's relatively easy to get a free-trial of Hulu. This show can be watched in plenty of time before the trial ends. If you've done the free-trial before, you just need a different email address, and you sign-up using a different browser. Otherwise, you have to delete cookies on the browser you used to do a clean sign-up. The fact that I figured out how to do this several times is evidence that my brain still functions in my old age.

I got half way through, until 3 am. So glad they didn't do the weekly dump thing. I'm enjoying the jazz orchestra musical support elements. It has a similar brightness and zip that the piano thing had with Will & Grace, but far more enjoyable. Makes me want to dance. The show is very Hollywood sit-com formula, so no innovation here. The players are solid (especially with James Burrows directing), the writing is crisp, the edits are fast, and they seem to have created an homage to the Golden Girls. I absolutely loved the Golden Girls, so a good gay version of that is very welcome. Lots of room for supporting characters, although Jesse Tyler Ferguson as a fashionista is hard to buy. I love Vanessa Bayer. Lucky for Isaac Mizrahi that they brought him on as Consulting Producer. Linda Lavin is very good, in spite of her helmet hair. I wonder how the show deals with her death. The snarky Jewish mother is very much a part of this ensemble's chemistry. Interesting they touched on Matt Bomer's history as a former Mormon. The hymn singing scene was quite touching. It's a bit cliche that Matt gets all the hotties. The background of the friendships is developing nicely. A lot of the more serious conversations are relatable. Nathan Lane is chewing up scenery. He must feel very much at home. He can do full-on Off-Broadway on a Hollywood sound stage, and make a ton more money. I hope the writing team can keep up with the challenge. All the characters here are well equipped to deliver great lines and hit home runs. Good comedy is not easy. I wish them all good luck. We need a good laugh these days.

Just saw the first episode, twice. Some of the lines were very funny. Nathan Lee Graham is much better than I expected, passing him off as an Andre Leon Tally type. He's quite good. Matt Bomer as the dumb-blonde is perfect. Thank goodness they didn't actually make his hair blond. Didn't know Nathan Lane and Matt Bomer are executive producers. Serious gay-Hollywood clout behind this project. I hope it succeeds. Had to turn on closed-captioning, because they talk too fast. I missed a lot of words the first go-round.

Wow. I had no idea. Thanks for that info.

Extremely hot. It seems to me Logan Stevens has great massage hands. He appears to know what he is doing. I wish he would do more massage videos, and I wish he would make himself available for massage. I love his look. I also think that work space is cute. Wish I could see more.

Nick Sandell should have his own thread.

@marylander1940 Thank you for the video. I love watching hot men shower. -
I don't think that song was from the 1st episode. I thought Hilty and McPhee were perfectly cast, and their voices harmonized together beautifully. I guess they are too old now, and probably doing other things. I haven't heard much, but from what I did hear, the new lead voices sounded very good. The one thing about Broadway, it attracts a constant stream of new talent. There seem to be a fair share of young Hiltys and McPhees. In the video, I love watching the male theater queens. They get so exercised.

The debut of the TV show knocked me off my chair. Everyone who loves musical theater was talking about it. I thought the music was electrifying. Then the show went to shit. I remember thinking this music should not go to waste. I've read the stage musical is very different from the TV show. I'm glad to hear someone enjoyed it.

Advertising on Masseurfinder vs Rentmasseur
d.anders replied to FrancisCA's topic in Spas & Masseurs
+1. Assuming can get you into trouble. I feel like I've answered this question before. I'd be curious to know the numbers between the 2 sites, which of course will never happen. I do view both sites, but in the past decade, I only hire from RentMasseur. MasseurFinder offers no internal email system. Since I do not text, the email service on RM is a gift. I value it. If MF offered an internal email service, then I would hire from both sites, and take more chances on a new guy. I'm surprised MF charges more than RM, because from my perspective, they are not offering more for that money. @kyleham said it best, you never know what can happen until you get on the table/bed naked. The ad site makes little difference. It seems to me, building a word-of-mouth reputation matters far more than where you decide to place an ad. If you truly enjoy what you do, if you're talented, word will spread quickly, no matter where your ad is. FWIW, sexy photos matter a lot. I prefer the photo software that RM uses, because the photos enlarge to my screen size. MF's photos are smaller, but there software program has improved over the years. -
I think Sorkin is in recovery, but for many years he relied on cocaine. I can't imagine the pressure to churn out award-winning product on a timeline. Once you peak, there's no place to go but down. Love Boat lasted 10 seasons. LOL. Not sure if the premise is narrow. A luxury resort offers a constant turnover in interesting customers, many of them attractive, offering new stories with each check-in. I like the premise, and it can be as broad as the creators wish. Lots of themes to choose from, but I prefer they stick to sex.

If there is one character who could have appeared in every season, galloping from one White Lotus to another, with endless, insane stories of a madcap life, and a line of gay boy-toys fluttering her around like a swarm of butterflies, it's Tanya McQuoid. I don't know how easy or difficult is is to work with Jennifer Coolidge, but had this been my show, I never would have let her go. She was just too special a character, and they don't come around that often.

IMO, no one in this country should experience homelessness. I view this as society's moral bankruptcy. America deserves shame for this problem. I have often thought, if I had major money, I would like to work on solving this problem. I would enjoy creating a safe and respectable safety-net for people who need extra help. Mental illness is another subject that gets under my skin. In this country, we are not doing enough. A profit-driven health care system will never be the answer.

Anything that could reasonably pass as honest, real, and not something that looks like it passed muster from a room full of lawyers. Again, what I expected from MIke White, after 2 very successful seasons, is better writing, even where dialogue doesn't exist. Personally, I would not have gone the incest route. I don't need to see it. But if you're going to have the balls to go there, don't try to pawn off a cheap shot on your loyal gay viewers.

As much as everyone here would probably enjoy seeing an erect penis on one of the Ratliff sons, I don't think anyone was advocating for using an exposed erect penis, prosthetic or not. The point I was trying to make was about Mike White making honest, believable sex choices in film. We're adults here. We understand what TV can and cannot do at this point in time. Furthermore, I don't know what the definition of porn is anymore. These days, it is not uncommon to see male actors kissing, licking, sucking erect female nipples in legit film, as Walter Goggins did to Aimee Lou Wood a few episodes ago. I don't know what the lines are, and I expect with time, the lines are subject to change.

Thank you @Luv2play. Sometimes I think I'm going crazy, because sometimes an X page will open, and most times not. I want nothing to do with Elon Musk, so I will not be seeing any videos on X. Who knows how long that feature will last anyway.

And the land where honest, reasonable debate can no longer happen. Very unfortunate, indeed.

Yes, all what you wrote is correct. Except, HBO/MAX is Pay-TV. They do not permit accounts from minors. American culture is fucked. They have no problem showing men and women holding guns to their heads and shooting their brains all over everything. But put a man or woman's hand around an erect penis, and look out! The wrath of holy hell be upon you. Demented, perverted, and hypocritical thinking, if you ask me. In story telling, these "sex" decisions are up to the creators. They decide how far they will go to be "honest" in their telling of the story. In Season 1, Mike White had no problem putting Murray Bartlett's face into Lukas Gage's ass crack. We all believed that happened. In Season 3, White made the decision to show erect penis under sheets, knowing it would be a serious compromise, and dishonest. To me, this is lazy story telling. Sure, it gets clicks, but not in a positive way. Was it really impossible to come up with some other activity that is more believable, and equally compelling?

How to tackle safety concerns for sensual/erotic massages
d.anders replied to dk582's topic in Questions About Hiring
Harsh was not my intention at all. Monogamy and deal-making aren't for every relationship. When Jamie21 wrote abstinence as being 100% safe, it triggered my brain. I've lived long enough to realize and accept what temptation does to a horny man. Nothing I say or do can stop someone from risky behavior. Not all my partners were secure men. When "in love," some guys needed to feel more secure than others. If I truly loved the guy, then I felt committed to giving them the security they needed. On top of that, bringing an STD home to your lover, who assumes you are out to protect his life and well being, is not the behavior of a good and honest man. We are not perfect, and many people make hurtful mistakes. Selfishness will always be among us. -
Another internet mystery. Maybe it depends what Operating System you use. Searching @maxxxdeed_, at least 2 pages come up, but they are mostly X. I saw one "twitter" link, but it also opened as X.

As an open-minded viewer, I'm open to anything, especially if it involves male actors getting naked. What I hated about Mike White's choice to go incest, he had to go fake, mostly because it's HBO. If Lochlan was fucking Chloe, and jacking off his brother at the same time, there is no way Saxon's hard-on action is going to be under a sheet. Ridiculous. For me, this was an eye-roll moment. Gratuitous for the sake of shock.
