  1. Right on, I remember Mark Spitz as if it was yesterday. Those speedos, which he wore with such confidence, mesmerized me. I was a chubby kid at the time. Before I knew what 'gay' was, I was aroused by pictures of Greek and Roman statues. But my first real crush was Charlton Hestor in 'Ben-Hur' ... and I will probably burn in hell because of it

    Told You So!!!

I applaud that gay-themed ads may be aired during a 'mainstream' event such as the superbowl. I wonder how effective the ads will be in selling Doritos though. Having said that, I thought these ads were really funny and well-done. Thanks for posting.
  3. Good choice Thumper. The St Marks will be perfect. Besides, it's in a fun 'hood. Have a good time. If your new buddy wants to be snooty about this location, he should realize that one day, when his novelty has faded away, he'll be taking his undies off and give it all up at any location his clients want ... Let me add something to this. 'NYCman' hit it right on in our discussion about Junior: a great escort makes you forget where you are, from the moment he enters the room. Regardless of where that room is. I could not have said it better myself.
  4. Thumper, if your guy can't do an outcall, then just do an incall and save yourself the cost of a hotel. Or am I missing something? My thoughts on short term rentals: - with the occupancy rate of hotels in NYC being so low, it's worth looking into getting a room for a night. Especially on weekends, when there are no business travellers. Example: Millenium Hilton used to be $400 a night, now you can get a room for $170 a night (on weekends). - I heard the St Marks was renovated. They used to offer $60 for 2 hours. - For a real dive, check the Senton Hotel. Rock bottom prices. Don't take your shoes off, don't touch the bed and don't touch the sink though ... - There are some threads on this board about the Deauville Hotel. It's clean enough. Not sure they still offer short term rates though. But then, with economy being what it is, they might. And of course, always pay cash for short term stays at dive hotels.
