Right! I was hoping to see him after the Pride weekend madness. Oh well ...
-
Last time I checked, Blink's Bryant Park location had limited operating hours. Like - c;losed Sundays. For that reason, I didn't pursue it further.

Yes indeed. The Candle Bar. With an authentic back room and a men only bathroom in the basement. Memories ...

Very close! I am on West 86th. Sadly, the UWS is not as gay as it once was. The last gay bar closed YEARS ago.

@hypothetically thank you for a very comprehensive review of the various gyms in HK! For the upperwestisde, the choices are basically limited to Equinox, Crunch and NYSC. There are also a number of boutique gyms that personal trainers use to work with their private clients. I was a member at Equinox 92/broadway and 76/Amsterdam for a long time. Equinox offers an excellent service but in the end I decided it wasn't worth their ever-escalating membership fees. I didn't use their trainers, didn't use any of the group classes and I certainly didn't feel like paying for their scented towels. Equinox is selling too many memberships for the size of their locations and it got horribly crowded during rush hour. To the point that getting a workout in became a challenge. Many women favor Equinox, I guess because it is clean. The female clientele at Equinox tends to be very snooty which is a huge turnoff. In fact, I should write a separate post about why women don't belong in gyms. As a plus, I will say that the personal trainers often are hot and some are 'available' to their male and female clients. NYSC on the upperwestside is really 'hit or miss' depending on location but more often 'miss'. Badly maintained and broken equipment. The steam room at the 82/Broadway location is basically a sex club that has been closed down by NYPD several times. Some of the clients are just there to hang out and cruise in the locker room - you never see them in the gym space. It grossed me out. I currently use the Crunch on W 84. It is not a great gym but it is priced correctly for what it is. It has all the equipment I need at a reasonable rate. The crowd is gay-ish. I do see quite a few of the local escorts working out there. Some of the personal trainers there are quite good and at a more affordable rate than Equinox. Just my 5 cents for the upperwestside.

For a truly 'retro' ambiance, I recommend the Senton Hotel in NYC. The 80s are back! https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-s1-g60763-d284904-Reviews-Senton_Hotel-New_York_City_New_York.html

The Senton???? Is that hell hole still around? That was even worse than the Elk Lodge at 42/9th where the Cats and the Stellas boys used to turn tricks! https://www.yelp.com/biz/senton-hotel-new-york

If he's real, he could be very successful here …

Expensive? His pics suggest a luxury life style ….

I checked hotel availability on Expedia, for Pride weekend. There is AMPLE availability. This ain't New Year's Eve ...

So many escorts travelling to NYC this week. They must expect a real $$$$ bonanza because of Pride!
-
I have never been to a Klay, but I agree with what you said about Equinox in New York … Not only some of the personal trainers but quite a few of the younger clients are definitely 'available' if approached with a sense of tact and discretion. On the flip side of things, many young women 'working out' at Equinox are there solely for the purpose of finding a sugar daddy. The high cost of living in NYC encourages many to seek additional income. It is a buyer's market.

Great!

I am quite sure that it is the map of the actual parade. The duration of which seems to be cut in 1/2 since I went to see it a few years ago. Security concerns maybe?
-
Do you believe them? I don't mean to be questioning it, but I live in NYC and some of these guys are BUSY making the $$$ while they can.
-
I agree.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/nyc-pride/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Route-Map-NYCPrideMarch2019.png This year, the length of the march is very short though (map above). It starts at 26/5th, barely touches the village and then back up to Chelsea. It used to be that the March started at 42nd/5th went all the way down 5th and ended up deep into the west village. It is for security maybe? I don't think the rest of the city will be affected in terms of traffic congestion.

Tyler Roberts escorts? Would you mind providing a link to his ad?
-
I see your point and I totally agree with it. However, one would hope that providers of discreet services wouldn't schedule clients back-to-back. Nothing worse than running into the previous or the next client in the hallway.

In their RM ad, they self identify as bisexual … which turns me OFF. I don't get a bi vibe from their IG profile though. So I may be tempted if there is positive feedback from a trusted source on this forum.

I live in NY and have been looking for a good manscaper. Thank you for all the recommendations!

I would not have responded to the boyfriend's email …

Like most things Equinox - overpriced. As a therapeutic massage not memorable. Did not try again.
